There are specific seats reserved for outside state students but of less number only .

You have to perform very good in mhtcet .

You will be eligible for all India quota not the local seats 

Your state rank (state general merit no.) is considered for admission in engineering colleges.

 it is only for OPEN candidates. Category rank is also given for admission under a category(OBC, SC, ST…).
