With 48 marks in NEET and 49.94 percentile in MHT-CET under the SC category from Maharashtra, getting admission to a BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) course in a government or top private college is quite difficult. NEET marks are quite low, and while some private paramedical colleges may consider students with low scores, most reputable institutions have higher cut-offs.
For MHT-CET, 49.94 percentile is also on the lower side. BPT admissions through CET in Maharashtra usually require higher percentiles, especially in government or good private colleges. However, you might still have a chance in lesser-known private colleges or self-financed institutions where the competition is not as intense. Keep an eye on the counselling rounds, especially the mop-up and institutional rounds, where vacant seats are sometimes available at lower cut-offs.
Yes, you can get admission in BPT through private colleges that accept MHT CET PCB scores, but not through NEET-based government colleges.
Yes, you can get admission in Physiotherapy (BPT) or BSc Radiology and Imaging Technology through your MHT CET PCB score. Many private and some government colleges in Maharashtra accept PCB scores for these courses.
If your score is around 89 percentile or higher, you have a good chance of getting into a decent physiotherapy or radiology college. Admissions are done through the state counselling process known as CAP counselling.
For BSc Radiology also, colleges consider your MHT CET PCB score along with your board marks. You just need to meet the eligibility criteria set by the colleges.

Hello,
With 86 percentile in MHT CET (General category), you have chances in some good private colleges in Mumbai for CS or IT branch. Some of the colleges you can consider are:
Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College, Chembur
Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Wadala
Atharva College of Engineering, Malad
Xavier Institute of Engineering, Mahim
St. Francis Institute of Technology, Borivali
Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, Kandivali
These colleges usually have decent placements and good faculty. You can try for better options in the CAP rounds and also keep spot round in mind.
Hope it helps !
If you scored 42 percentile in mht cet getting in top government colleges like coep or vjiti is not possible because their cutoffs are bery high however you get still het admission in some private engineering colleges or self finances institutes especially in rural or semi urban areas of Maharashtra these colleges usually have lower cutoffs and may offer you branches like civil , mechanical quota in average private colleges where the cutoff is more flexible but the fees might be higher
To get admission in BTech IT with a specialization in Data Analytics or Data Science through MHT CET, the required percentile depends on the college you are targeting.
In general, for top government or reputed private colleges in Maharashtra, you will need a higher percentile. Here's a simple idea:
If you want admission in top colleges like VJTI Mumbai, COEP Pune, SPIT Mumbai, or DJ Sanghvi, then you should aim for:
around 97 to 99.5 percentile for General category around 92 to 96 percentile for OBC/EWS around 85 to 92 percentile for SC/ST
For mid-level private colleges like Atharva, Vidyalankar, Xavier Institute, and others, you may get a seat with:
around 85 to 95 percentile for General around 70 to 90 percentile for reserved categories
The IT (Data Analytics) specialisation is in high demand, so even in mid-range colleges, the cut-off percentile is rising every year.
Here is the separate website link where you can check last year's cutoffs and confirm your chances

If you got 78 point eight three percentile in MHT CET and you belong to NT C category then you have a chance to get branches like mechanical engineering instrumentation and control or electronics and telecommunication in MKSSS Pune but you may not get computer engineering or IT branch because their cutoff is very high and usually closes above ninety eight percentile so it is better to choose branches that match your score and have better chances for admission mechanical branch is good if you are interested in machines or industry work and it gives good job chances in Pune electronics and instrumentation branches are also good with stable career options if you like working with circuits or machines during counseling you should choose the branches carefully and fill more options so you get a seat in early rounds also keep checking the official cap round updates because sometimes better branches become available in next rounds and you can shift if your marks match the new cutoff it is also good to look at other government or private colleges in Pune where the cutoff is near your percentile so you can compare and take a smart decision and always keep your documents ready for admission and verification

Information Technology: (~94–97) percentile
