To get admission in MIT in B.Des your daughter need to appear in Design Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted by the institute and to get admission in SID she has to appear in SEED entrance exam conducted by the institute and qualify in it. She cannot get admission in B.Des based on NIFT rank. NIFT rank can be used to get admission in any of NIFT campuses. You have not mentioned the category she belongs to but if 150 is her overall rank then she has decent chances of getting in NIFT in any of its campuses based on previous year cut off. And the campuses in which she may get admission are
Cut off may change depending on number of candidates applied to the course, available seats etc.

You have not mentinoed if your daughter belong to OBC-NCL or OBC-CL. If she belongs to OBC-CL then she will be considered as general category candidate. And with such rank she may not get seat in any NIFT campus but if she belongs to OBC-NCL she may have chances of getting seat based on 2019 last rank cut off in

However, cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam etc.

No, you can get admission in any of NIFT campuses only through entrance exam. You need to appear in NIFT entrance exam and score minimum qualifying marks to be eligible to participate in counselling. You must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board for apparel designing you must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. You cannot get admission based on 10+2 marks.
Visit the official website of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). On the homepage, one can find the tab ‘Admissions ’. Under that tab, click on the link ‘Call Letter for GD/ PI’. A fresh page opens and the candidates have to enter details such as ‘Roll Number’, ‘Date of Birth (DOB)’ and ‘Application Number’. Click on ‘Submit’. The call letter for GD/ PI will flash on a new page.
Just download it and take a printout.
