NIFT Situation Test or GD/PI Dates: Candidates who clear NIFT entrance exam for BDes course admission then need to appear for the Situation Test round wherein their material handling skills are tested. On the other hand, aspirants taking the design entrance exam for MDes course admission need to appear for the Group Discussion/Personal Interview round. Situation test/ GD/ PI admission round will be conducted in April-May, 2020.

From my research, candidates are not allowed to carry any aditional materials in NIFT exam.

The pattern of the exam is

There is an creative ability test and General ability test and situation test.

CAT exam is for 3 hours with 100 marks and GAT exam is for 2 hours with 100 questions.Selected candidates has to appear in situation test which test the ability of the candidates.

Hello student there's no option left now as you've make the mistake yourself by applying for b.ftech instead of B.design.

As this year exams has already passed you need to appear in next year nift entrance examination and make sure you won't make any mistake.

Eligibility for bachelor design :-

Candidates must have passed class 12 (or appearing) from any discipline from a recognized board.

There are screening tests you have to give in any institute you join for masters program. The exam is a pen-paper or online depends on the college.  Top universities have their own exam and other private and low rated colleges intakes candidates through the qualification.

The selection process is different for different college. Look for one college and try to know what is the selection process. Then prepare yourself accordingly.
