my neet all india obc category rank is 33025, can i get any mbbs government seat

Kanishka kaushikii 26th Jul, 2024

The competition for government MBBS seats is intense, especially for general categories. However, being in the OBC category does provide some advantage.

Factors Affecting Your Chances:

  • State Quota: Your chances of getting a government seat are higher under the state quota than the All India Quota.
  • State-wise Cutoffs: Cutoffs vary significantly from state to state. Some states have lower cutoffs for OBC category compared to others.
  • College Preferences: If you are flexible with college location, your chances improve.

You can analyze previous year's cutoff data for OBC category in different states or focus on government medical colleges with lower cut-offs. If securing an MBBS seat proves difficult, consider other medical-related fields like BDS, AYUSH, or paramedical courses.
The NEET counselling process is competitive, and the final outcome depends on various factors. It's essential to stay informed about the counselling process and explore all available options.

I hope this information helps you.

can I get a GOVERNMENT BDS seat , my rank in neet 2024 is 71659 with a score of 605 marks anywhere in india (GEN category with no reservation )

vaibhavi bhalsod 26th Jul, 2024

Hello student

Congratulations on your NEET 2024 score! With a rank of 71659 and a score of 605 marks in the GEN category with no reservation, your chances of getting a government BDS seat are possible, but it depends on various factors:

1. *Cutoff ranks*: Last year's cutoff ranks for government BDS seats varied across India, ranging from 30,000 to 1,50,000.

2. *Seat matrix*: The number of BDS seats available in government colleges and their distribution across states.

3. *State-wise counseling*: Counseling processes and seat allotment vary across states.

4. *Category-wise cutoffs*: GEN category cutoffs might be higher than reserved categories.

Based on previous years' trends, here are some possible scenarios:

- *Kerala*: You might get a government BDS seat in Kerala, as their cutoff ranks have been around 70,000-80,000 in previous years.

- *Tamil Nadu*: You have a chance in Tamil Nadu, where cutoff ranks have been around 60,000-70,000.

- *Other states*: In states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, or Rajasthan, the competition is higher, and cutoff ranks might be lower (around 40,000-50,000).

To increase your chances:

1. *Participate in state-wise counseling*: Register for counseling in multiple states to explore opportunities.

2. *Check seat matrices*: Look for states with a higher number of BDS seats in government colleges.

3. *Stay updated*: Monitor counseling schedules, cutoffs, and seat allotment lists regularly.

Remember, these are general insights based on previous years' trends. The actual cutoffs and seat allotment may vary. Best of luck!

vaibhavi bhalsod 26th Jul, 2024

Hello student

*BNYS Government Seat in Karnataka with KCET Rank 74371 and 2B Category*

With a KCET rank of 74371 and belonging to the 2B category, here are some points to consider for getting a BNYS government seat in Karnataka:

- *Government BNYS Colleges in Karnataka*: There is only one government BNYS college in Karnataka, which is the Government Nature Cure and Yoga College in Mysore .

- *Private BNYS Colleges in Karnataka*: There are four private BNYS colleges in Karnataka, including Alvas College of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, Moodbidri, and Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, Bangalore .

- *KCET Rank and BNYS Seat*: Although I couldn't find specific information about the required KCET rank for BNYS, a rank of 74371 may be considered relatively high for government seats.

- *2B Category*: Belonging to the 2B category may have an impact on your eligibility for government seats, but the exact implications are unclear without more information.

- *Ayush NEET Counselling*: BNYS admissions in Karnataka are conducted through Ayush NEET counselling . You may need to participate in this counselling process to secure a seat.

To increase your chances of getting a BNYS government seat, consider the following:

- *Check the official website*: Regularly check the official website of the Government Nature Cure and Yoga College, Mysore, and the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for updates on BNYS admissions and seat availability.

- *Participate in Ayush NEET counselling*: Register for Ayush NEET counselling to explore available options and secure a seat.

- *Explore private colleges*: Consider private BNYS colleges in Karnataka, as they may offer more seat availability.

with 425 can I get private seat in medical collage

Kanishka kaushikii 26th Jul, 2024

Hello aspirant,
The competition for medical seats, especially in private colleges, is extremely intense. Cutoff marks have been rising steadily over the years. To get a seat in a private medical college, you would generally need a score significantly higher than 425.
But, you should not lose hope here, instead, you can consider other healthcare-related fields like BDS, BAMS, BHMS, or paramedical courses. If you're determined to pursue MBBS, focus on improving your score for the next NEET exam.
Remember, it's essential to stay positive and explore alternative paths.

I hope this information helps you.

In DU pg CSAS, I have not been allotted any seat in the spot round but I have more no. than cut off marks. What should I do?

Prachi Kumari 27th Jul, 2024

If you haven't been allotted a seat in the spot round of the Delhi University (DU) PG Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) despite having more marks than the cutoff, you can consider the following steps:

  1. Check Eligibility and Documents:

    • Ensure that all your eligibility criteria and documents are in order. Sometimes, minor discrepancies or missing documents can cause issues in seat allocation.
  2. Contact the Admission Office:

    • Reach out to the DU admission office or the concerned department. Explain your situation clearly and provide evidence of your marks and cutoff comparison. They might be able to provide clarity or resolve any potential issues.
  3. Participate in Subsequent Rounds:

    • If there are more rounds of seat allocation or waiting lists, continue to participate in them. Sometimes, seats open up in later rounds due to cancellations or withdrawals.
  4. Explore Other Options:

    • Look for other colleges or universities where you might meet the cutoff and have a chance of admission. It’s always good to have backup options.
  5. Stay Updated:

    • Keep checking the official DU PG CSAS portal and your email for any updates or notifications regarding seat allocation.
  6. Review Your Preferences:

    • Ensure that the preferences you filled out in the application form align with the courses and colleges where you meet the cutoff. Sometimes adjusting your preferences can increase your chances in subsequent rounds.

Hope it helps you!

G PAVAN KUMAR 21st Sep, 2024

Yes Sure you can get a government seat since you have scored such good and amazing marks in you exam. and you also have another privilege's factor with you. 479 to 486 that was my growth from 2015 to 2016

The change came up when I was at home after NEET 2016-defeated and hopeless - I was messing around with my cat - that day at the dinner table, my father said-is saal agar nhi hua to veterinary mein dila denge was shocked beyond measures and said NO and then I made up my mind to crack it and I was able to do it the very year.

486 to 570 that was my increase for year 2017.

And yes, I got the college of my choice.

Securing a government MBBS seat in India with a NEET rank of 56781, even with Rajasthan domicile, is challenging but not impossible.

Factors affecting your chances:

  • State Quota: Focus on your Rajasthan state quota as you might have better chances there compared to the All India Quota.
  • Explore Less Popular Colleges: Consider government medical colleges in remote areas or less preferred locations.
  • Other States: If the situation in Rajasthan is challenging, explore other states with potentially lower cutoffs.
  • Backup Options: Keep BDS, AYUSH courses, or private medical colleges as backup options.

Remember, cutoffs vary yearly. Participate in counselling and explore all options.
