i got 624 in neet 2024 will i get government seat in Andhra Pradesh

kumardurgesh1802 11th Oct, 2024

Hello there,

With a score of 624 in NEET 2024, you have a very strong chance of securing a government MBBS seat in Andhra Pradesh.

Factors Supporting Your Chances:

  1. High Score : A score of 624 is well above the typical cutoff for government medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh, especially for the general category.

  2. Previous Year Cutoffs : Historically, the cutoffs for government medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh have been around the 550-600 range for general candidates, so you are likely to be competitive.

  3. SC/ST/OBC Considerations : If you belong to a reserved category, your chances are even higher, as cutoffs for these categories are generally lower.

  4. Counseling Participation : Be proactive in the counseling process and keep an eye on the official announcements regarding seat allocation.

In summary, with 624 marks, you should be able to secure a government medical seat in Andhra Pradesh. Good luck!

i got 51920 rank in eamcet can i get veterinary seat in any college in ap

kumardurgesh1802 25th Sep, 2024

Hello there,

With an EAMCET rank of 51,920, securing a veterinary seat in Andhra Pradesh may be challenging, as veterinary colleges generally have higher cutoffs. However, there are still a few options worth considering:

Key Considerations:

  1. Previous Year Cutoffs : Research the previous year’s cutoffs for veterinary colleges in AP. Some colleges might have lower cutoffs, especially for certain categories or in specific years.

  2. Counseling Process : Participate in the counseling process for EAMCET. Make sure to fill out your choices strategically, prioritizing colleges that you’re interested in, and be open to lesser-known colleges.

  3. Category Considerations : If you belong to a reserved category (like SC/ST/OBC), you may have a better chance of getting a seat, as the cutoffs for these categories can be lower.

  4. Private Veterinary Colleges : If you cannot secure a government seat, consider private veterinary colleges, as they may have more lenient admission criteria.

  5. Additional Options : If veterinary medicine doesn't pan out, consider related fields like B.Sc. in Agriculture or Animal Husbandry, which can also lead to fulfilling careers.

While your rank may make it tough to get a veterinary seat in government colleges, participating in the counseling process and being strategic about your choices can still yield opportunities. Stay informed about the cutoff trends and remain open to various options in the field of veterinary sciences.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

kumardurgesh1802 31st Aug, 2024

Hello there,

With a rank of 99,983 in KCET and an interest in Computer Science, your chances of securing a seat in this branch in top-tier colleges may be slim. However, you may still be able to get a seat in some private colleges or colleges with higher cutoffs. Here’s an overview of what you might expect:

Potential Colleges for Computer Science (KCET Rank  99,983):

1) Rural and Newly Established Colleges:

a) Type: Newer private colleges or those located in rural areas may have higher cutoffs.

b) Fee Structure: Typically ranges between Rs.1,00,000 - 2,50,000 per annum.

Examples:

a) Cambridge Institute of Technology, Bangalore
b) HKBK College of Engineering, Bangalore
c) Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bangalore

2) Private Colleges with Moderate Cutoffs:

a) Type: Established private colleges with moderate demand might still have seats.

b) Fee Structure: Typically ranges between Rs.1,50,000 - 3,00,000 per annum.

Examples:

a) East West Institute of Technology, Bangalore
b) T John Institute of Technology, Bangalore
c) KNS Institute of Technology, Bangalore

3) Tier-3 Colleges:

a) Type: Colleges that are less popular or have lower placement records.

b) Fee Structure: Typically ranges between Rs.80,000 - 2,00,000 per annum.

Examples:

  • RR Institute of Technology, Bangalore
  • Bangalore Technological Institute, Bangalore
  • Rajarajeswari College of Engineering, Bangalore

Probable Fee Structure:

  • Government Quota: Fees under the government quota are generally lower, ranging from Rs.50,000 to 1,00,000 per year.

  • Management Quota: Fees can be significantly higher under management quota, ranging from Rs.1,50,000 to 4,00,000 per year depending on the college.

    Next Steps:

  • Counseling: Participate in KCET counseling and keep an eye on the cutoff ranks during each round to see where your rank fits.

  • Consider Other Branches: If Computer Science seats are not available, you might want to consider related branches like Information Technology or Electronics & Communication, which might have slightly higher cutoffs.

    Useful Tips:

  • Monitor Cutoff Trends: Look at previous years' cutoff ranks to estimate your chances.

  • Have Backup Options: Be prepared with backup colleges in case your first preferences are not available.

  • Fee Waivers/Scholarships: Some colleges offer fee waivers or scholarships based on merit or other criteria, which could be helpful.

To get a specific list of colleges with cutoffs close to your rank, you should check the KCET counseling portal during the counseling process, as cutoffs can vary each year.

I would recommend you to use KCET college predictor tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.
