As far as I know, this is the first time I think VIT is considering UCEED scores so there is no knowledge on this front but since all top rankers prefer IITs and IIIT Delhi, you may stand a chance.
Candidates from all streams, that is, Arts & Humanities, Science and Commerce are eligible to apply for UCEED exam.

If you want to be in rank list, you must score more than 90, now talking about your rank 982, it would get a bit tough for you to get into IITdm jabalpur ( last year it was something around 300, I guess )
