I got 510 marks can I get mbbs seat

kumardurgesh1802 25th Sep, 2024

Hey there,

With 510 marks in NEET 2024, your chances of securing an MBBS seat are decent, but it will depend on several factors like your category, the state you belong to, and the type of colleges you’re targeting (government, semi-government, or private).

Government Colleges :

  • General Category : Securing a government MBBS seat with 510 marks can be challenging in more competitive states. However, if you belong to a state with less competition or have a reserved category status, your chances improve.

  • Reserved Categories : If you belong to an SC, ST, or OBC category, your chances of getting a government MBBS seat are much better with 510 marks.

    Semi-Government and Private Colleges :

  • Semi-Government Colleges : You stand a good chance of getting a seat in a semi-government college. These colleges typically have slightly higher fees but offer a solid education.

  • Private Colleges : You are very likely to secure a seat in a private medical college with 510 marks, though the fees will be higher.

    Counseling Process :

  • State Quota : Your domicile state’s counseling process will play a crucial role. Some states have lower cutoffs, which might work in your favor.

  • All India Quota : Participating in All India Quota counseling can also provide opportunities, but competition is fierce.

With 510 marks , you have a reasonable chance of securing an MBBS seat, especially if you’re open to semi-government or private colleges. For government colleges, your chances are better if you belong to a reserved category or if the competition in your state is less intense.

I got 510 marks in neet 2024 I am belong to andhra and BCD category any I which clg I got mbbs seat

kumardurgesh1802 25th Sep, 2024

Hey there,

With 510 marks in NEET 2024 and belonging to the BCD category in Andhra Pradesh, you have a fair chance of securing an MBBS seat in several government and semi-government medical colleges in the state. Here's what you can expect:

Government Medical Colleges :

  • Andhra Pradesh State Quota : Your BCD category status gives you an advantage in securing a government MBBS seat. Colleges like Andhra Medical College (Visakhapatnam) , Siddhartha Medical College (Vijayawada) , or Rangaraya Medical College (Kakinada) could be within reach.

    Semi-Government/Private Medical Colleges :

  • If a government seat doesn’t work out, you have a strong chance of getting a seat in semi-government or private medical colleges with relatively lower fees, especially within the state. Institutions like Great Eastern Medical School and Hospital (Srikakulam) or Narayana Medical College (Nellore) might be options to consider.

    Counseling Strategy :

  • State Counseling : Focus on Andhra Pradesh’s state quota counseling where your BCD category will significantly boost your chances.

  • All India Quota : Consider participating in the All India Quota counseling, though priority should be given to state quota due to better chances within your category.

With 510 marks and BCD category status in Andhra Pradesh, you have a good chance of securing an MBBS seat in a government or semi-government medical college. Ensure you actively participate in the state counseling process to maximize your chances.

what is the cut off rank for B.Sc biotechnology at Manipal School of Life Sciences? I got a rank of 112 in MET. Also wanted to know the seat allotment for the same.

monag2673 30th Jul, 2024

Unfortunately, specific cut-off ranks for Manipal School of Life Sciences (MSLS) B.Sc. Biotechnology program aren't publicly available.  However, we can explore some resources to estimate your chances:

  • Previous Years' Data: Look for information on previous years' MET cut-off ranks for B.Sc. Biotechnology at MSLS. This might give you a rough idea of the competition level. You might find this data on educational forums or college websites with historical admissions data.
  • Contact MSLS: Reach out directly to the Manipal School of Life Sciences admissions department. They might be able to provide more specific information regarding the cut-off range for this year.

Regarding seat allotment:

  • Seat allotment at MSLS is based on your MET rank, program preference, category (if applicable), and seat availability.
  • You can expect to find details about the seat allotment process and timeline on the official Manipal University admissions website.

With a rank of 112, you have a strong chance of securing your desired program. However, due to the lack of confirmed cut-off data, it's  best to use the resources mentioned above for better clarity.

can I get mbbs free seat I got 435 marks I belong to SC category and I have national sports quota certificate and predict my college I belong to Telangana 2024

Nitin Kumar 20th Jun, 2024

I can't definitively say whether you will get a free MBBS seat in Telangana for 2024 with a score of 435.
The cutoff for SC category in Telangana for NEET 2024 admissions isn't available yet. The official authority, Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), will release the cutoffs after the counselling process

As of June 2024, the Hyderabad High Court has directed the Telangana government not to admit students under the sports quota for MBBS admissions this year.

Keep an eye out for official announcements from KNRUHS regarding the NEET 2024 cutoffs and counselling schedule

i got 27,000 rank in ap emcet Im an BC - B candidate in which course i get free seat nd in government colleges

Shambhavi shambhavi 30th Dec, 2024

With a rank of 27,000 in AP EAMCET and being from the BC-B category, you may be eligible for a free seat (government quota) in certain engineering or non-engineering courses, depending on the college and course popularity.

For engineering, branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical might have lower cutoffs compared to more popular ones. It’s best to refer to previous years' cutoffs for specific courses and check the AP EAMCET counseling process for a detailed prediction

With a rank of 30,672 in AP EAPCET, BC-D category, and a strong IPE score of 558/600, you may have a chance of getting a seat in JNTUA College of Engineering, but it depends on the branch you are aiming for. For branches with lower demand, such as Civil or Mechanical, your chances could be higher. It’s advisable to check the previous year’s cutoffs for JNTUA and participate in the AP EAPCET counseling for a more accurate prediction.
