    What Future Designers Can Expect?

Placement trends in MAHE have some key lessons for future students:

    • Undergraduate courses, particularly Fashion and Interior Design, are showing high salary increases and heavy recruiter demand.
    • Postgraduate courses such as M.Des Interior Design offer better opportunities but salaries are distributed in a broader range.
    • Sustainable Design remains a consistent stream of specialization with consistent average-level salary.

For the BDes course, 37 out of 55 students were placed for the 2021-22 batch, and 35 out of 43 students were placed for the 2022-23 batch. In the MDes program, 10 out of 12 students were placed in 2021-22, and 16 out of 25 students were placed in 2022-23. With the 2023-24 intake increasing to 71 seats for BDes and 28 seats for MDes, it is expected that the number of students placed will also rise this year. Additionally, the average and maximum salaries are likely to increase as well.

As a whole, MAHE design graduates are experiencing increased industry recognition every year, with higher packages and more opportunities being presented by employers.
