Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design
Hi ,
So admission to B Des at DTU is on the basis of UCEED score . And so to be included in UCEED ranklist is compulsory . The number of seats in B Des program is 60 .
To appear in the UCEED ranklist, the candidate has to score minimum marks in each section and minimum total marks . And so without qualifying each section, you can't appear in the ranklist, as well as get admission at DTU.
Hope this was helpful.

Congrats! for your amazing result.
With this rank, you can easily get into DTU.
However, you should also look for other colleges as well for a better chance of getting placed. Since many of them are far better than it.
Heyyy Srihari Murthy....
The expected cutoff for the various colleges for UCEED exam is expected to be about 150 to 190 for the top always like IIT Bombay IIT Guwahati, IIITDM Jabalpur. if you have a score in this range then you definitely can expect to get admission in these colleges

however, UCEED conducts its exam every year. IF this was your 1st chance, then you can give the exam one more time and secure high rank.
however there are many private colleges like UPES that accepts UCEED MARKS , hence you can try there as well.

Hey.
Most of the candidates preparing for UCEED refer to the same books which are used for preparing for NIFT, NID etc. Books like NIFT/NID/IIFT Entrance Exam Guide by Surendra Kavimandan can also be used or UCEED. In case you need separate books for each sections then you can use Wren&Martin for English. You can use R.S Aggarwal's or Arun Sharma's books for Reasoning and quantitative aptitude. Other than that make sure you go through previous year question papers too. You can use the previous year collection by AFA India for the same.
Best of luck
