UPES DAT 2024: Registration (Starts), Admission Form Link, Exam Date, Eligibility

UPES DAT 2024 : University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) has declared the UPES DAT result 2024 at its official website on April 25, 2024 for Phase 1. Candidates can log in to the website - upes.ac.in using the login credentials to download the UPES DAT 2024 results. The entrance exam for UPES DAT was conducted on April 5 & 6, 2024.

UPES authorities released the UPES DAT 2024 application form. Candidates could register for UPES Design Aptitude Test 2024 at upes.ac.in. Aspirants who wish to do the Design course offered at UPES Dehradun could apply and appear for UPES DAT exam 2024. Alternatively, admission to B.Des/Integrated B.Des-M.Des are also offered through NID /NIFT/ UCEED /JEE/ Board Merit / CUET followed by Portfolio Presentation & Interview. The UPES DAT 2024 exam was held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The duration of the UPES DAT entrance exam for B.Des was for one hour (60 minutes). Moreover, a total of 25 questions carrying 4 marks each were asked in UPES DAT.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria filled the application form for UPES Design Aptitude Test. The admit card of UPES DAT 2024 was issued in online mode. Candidates had to download the UPES DAT 2024 admit card with the photograph affixed to produce it at the allotted test centre.

As per UPES DAT eligibility criteria, candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary levels (10th & 12th) exams.

UPESDAT 2024 Registration/ Application Form Process

Step 1 -  Registration - Candidates have visit the official website and click on the link for registration.

Step 2 -  Personal Details - A new page will appear where candidates have to enter their personal details, such as first name, last name, level, select the program,  email ID, date of birth, and mobile number.

Step 3 - Academic Details - Students must fill in class 10 and 12 details, such as year of passing and percentage in the UPES DAT application form . If they appear for the 12 ^th exam, they have to mark yes in the specified box.

Step 4 - Other Important Details - In this section of the UPESDAT application form 2024, they have to mention nationality, country, state, city, and application pathway. Enter the captcha code, checkmark the ‘ I have read and understood the eligibility criteria, and click on the submit button.

Step 5  - Enter the OTP - Enter the OTP and then candidates will receive their application number on their screen and the user name and password will be sent to their phone.

Step 6 - Uploading of documents - Next, upload required documents as per specifications mentioned by the authorities.

Step    7 – Payment of UPESDAT Application Fee - After this, click on Proceed to Pay button, take the printout and keep it for future reference.

Candidates planning to appear for UPESDAT 2024 exam are advised to check the exam pattern beforehand. The UPESDAT for B. D es is conducted online and the type of questions asked will be objective-type multiple-choice questions. The exam was held for one hour. Students must go through the exam pattern to know the marking scheme and get familiar with the subject and topic-wise weightage , how many questions will be asked, and the section of questions.

The test takes will also come to know about the medium of the exam.
