SOFT CET Exam 2027: Registration, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus, Preparation

MKSSS's School of Fashion Technology will release the SOFT CET 2027 application form soon on its official website. Candidates will have to fill out and submit the online application form before the prescribed deadline. Only those candidates who fill out the SOFT CET 2027 registration form before the deadline will be allowed to appear for the entrance exam. The last date to apply for SOFT CET 2027 will be notified along with the official exam notification on its official website.

Documents Required for SOFT CET Registration 2027

Every candidate who applies for SOFT CET 2027 should keep the following documents with their application:

• 10th-grade mark sheet (mandatory for all programmes)
• Address Verification (mandatory for all programmes)
• Candidates must submit a scanned copy of their Class 12th Result for the UG course and a copy of their 12th and graduation mark sheets for the PG course.

Steps to fill SOFT CET application form 2027

Applicants who wish to take the SOFT CET 2027 should complete the application form, which will be available on the official website.

• Visit the School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) website and click on the Registration Link.
• Candidates must enter details such as personal details, parents' details, communication details, and educational qualifications
• Upload a photograph and signature with black ink on white paper in the prescribed specifications
• Once the application form has been completed, click the "submit" button.
• Keep a printout of the application form for future reference.

The authorities prescribe the SOFT CET 2027 eligibility criteria on the official website.  The eligibility criteria for SOFT CET include requirements about educational qualifications, minimum passing marks, and age limit, if any. The details are given in the table below:

SOFT CET 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants who are going to appear for the SOFT CET 2027 should check the exam pattern beforehand. With the help of the SOFT CET 2027 exam pattern, candidates can know details such as the duration of the paper, types of questions asked, mode, and much more. 

• Mode: The SOFT CET 2027 will be held in online/offline mode
• Question Type: The selection process will include a General Ability Test, a Studio Test, Group Discussions, and a Personal Interview. All candidates are required to take all three tests. All three will be conducted on the same day.
• Number of Questions: Online Test - 60 Marks, Studio Test / Group Discussion 140 Marks, and Personal Interview  (Portfolio + Statement of Purpose) - 50 Marks from the syllabus covered in the qualifying exam. 
• Marking Scheme: Candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer, with no negative marking for incorrect answers. As a result, candidates are advised to attempt all questions and not leave any unanswered.
• Medium: The SOFT CET 2027 question paper language will be in English.

SOFT CET Paper Pattern

Candidates must be familiar with the syllabus and attempt to solve all previous years' question papers or SOFT CET sample papers to understand the pattern of questions asked. The Question Papers can be found on SOFT's official website. 

• Participants should be capable of using their time wisely so they do not become exhausted while studying. A proper schedule must be created and followed. 
• It's vital that learners take enough breaks while studying to keep their minds calm and composed. Yoga can also be used to manage stress. Consume a well-balanced diet as well.

Aspirants who complete the registration process before the deadline will be issued hall tickets. On the day of the examination, candidates have to carry their admit card, a passport-sized photo, and a valid ID. Steps to Download the SOFT CET 2027 Admit Card:

• Visit the official website at soft.ac.in.
• Click on the 'Download Admit Card' button.
• Enter the correct username, password, and security code, then click 'Login'.
• On the screen, the admit card will be displayed. Save the soft copy and print a copy for future reference.

The SOFT CET 2027 merit list will be released tentatively in June, 2027. Shortlisted candidates have to pay the fee and confirm their admission within the prescribed deadline. Candidates can download the results of SOFT CET 2027 from the official website. Candidates will also be informed through email about their results.

How to Check the SOFT CET 2027 Results? 

• Log in to the SOFT, Pune official website.
• Continue and look for the 'Result' Section.
• Enter Login details like email ID and phone number, and click the Submit button.
• The results of the common entrance examination will be available online. Make a copy for yourself as a backup.

Counselling will begin immediately after the results are announced. Candidates who pass the Common Entrance Examination will be eligible to take the SOFT CET 2027 counselling.

• Following the announcement of the results, the institute will publish a list of Merit Rank Holders who must report to the institute on a specific date with the required documents.
• All candidates who wish to be admitted to the institute must send a confirmation email to the institute, failing which the seat will be automatically given to the waitlisted candidate.
• Following receipt of the confirmation email, applicants will be called in to complete the admission procedure in accordance with the academic calendar posted on the official website.
• Candidates must report to the institute with all required documents and certificates. The organizing body will verify these documents and certificates.
• They must then pay the tuition fees associated with their courses.
