Eligibility of CEED

The basic qualification criteria to appear for CEED is UG graduation degree , 10+2 and minimum 3 year graduation degree be it degree / diploma

Eligibility of NID

The minimum criteria for NID exams are 12 standard or equivalence to it , Full - time Diploma of minimum 4-year duration in Design/Fine Arts/Applied Arts/ Architecture,

I hope you are doing fine, Though the basic eligibility criteria to appear for CEED exam is UG Graduation degree (10+2+3) , a graduate's who has completed a 3-year degree (10+2+3) course please note, all listed IITs and IISC on the CEED website have their respective eligibility mentioned as 10+2+4.

Dear aspirant,

As per the information given on the official website of CEED, any student who has completed their graduation is eligible to give the MDes exam for admission to IITs, IISc and other participating institutes. It should be noted that every institute participating in the CEED also have their particular criteria thus candidates are requested to check whether they fulfill that criteria to avoid confusion.

NID Entrance exam 2022 also known as NID DAT will be organized in the month of March 2022.NID conducts national level entrance exam known as NID Design Aptitude Test.NID DAT held in 2 two stages.DAT Prelim and DAT Mains.The online registration process for NID DAT will start from 1st/2nd week of January 2022.You can fill the application form through online mode.The NID form for online registration will be available on the NID Official website.The online application process involves various steps:Signup/registration,filling details in application form,uploading of documents and signature, payment of application fee and printing of application form.Last date to apply for DAT 2022 will be till 3rd week of February 2022.You can pay the application fee through online mode using debit card/credit card.

The registration for CEED 2022,will start from September 9,2021 at ceed.iitb.ac.in. you can also fill the CEED 2022 Application form with late fee from October 11 to 17,2021.The CEED exam will be conducted in 2 parts:Part A-online(CBT) Mode,Part B-Theoretical type.Thr application form filling process will comprise the steps to fill the CEED 2022 registration,fill the details in the CEED 2022 online application form, upload the documents and pay the CEED Application fee.You can fill only one Application form.Before filling the form you must check the eligibility criteria.If your are facing a problem in any field while filling the application form,you can click on the 'Report Problem' button on the right side of the form.

Hello Aspirant,

CEED 2022 is conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to M.Des and Ph.D. programmes offered at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, IISc Bangalore and IIITDM Jabalpur.

Now if you are currently in final year of your graduation and if you will complete your graduation by July 2022 then you are eligible for apply for CEED 2022 because the eligibility criteria for CEED 2022 says that :-

** There is no age limit for any candidate.

** There is no limit on number of attempts, so any candidate can appear for CEED until and unless he/she clears it.

** Candidate should have Bachelor's degree or if the candidate is in final year then also he/she can apply for CEED 2022 but has to produce the required certificates and marksheets at the time of admission.

The Common Entrance Examination for Design or CEED is a joint entrance exam for post graduate studies in the field of technological design held annually jointly at IITs &IISc

The Examination if conducted by the Industrial Design Center Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay

The CEED provides entry to the Master of Design Program or the MDes or MDesign

The CEED Entrance Exam consists of two parts

Part a

Visual and Spatial Ability

Environmental and Social Awareness

Language and Creativity

Observation and Design Sensitivity

Analytical and Logical Reasoning

Design Thinking and Problem Solving

Part b

Drawing

Communication Skills

Creativity

Problem Identification Skills

I had a backlog in my undergraduate. I have cleared it. Am I eligible to write CEED and NID-DAT to get into Mdes programme?

Hello student,

To get a chance into top institutes of design course, with after completing your bachelor degree, into the masters of designing course, you can give various examinations including CEED  and NID DAT.

Get chance into IIT Delhi Bombay Guwahati Bangalore, as well as IIT DM Jabalpur and IISC Bangalore and also in other premium institutes, in Masters of designing course, you have to give CEED examination where you just should have basic eligibility criteria as like

  • After 10 plus 2 level diploma postgraduate or degree course in designing
  • Or, should be appeared in the final year of this course
  • Or you should pass GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level)

If you you are in the category and have completed your backlog then you easily eligible to write CEED .

Otherwise if you want to have your Bachelor in designing degree from National Institute of designs then you should give the examination NIDDAT what that the basic eligibility criteria is that you should have complete your ten plus two level with any stream in this year from any government recognised boards. There is a minimum age limit as well.

As per my knowledge you are completely eligible to write common entrance examination for designing CEED to pursue your masters in designing degree e from top institutes like IITDM Jabalpur IIT Bombay IIT Delhi IIT Madras etc ,IISC Bangalore and lots of reputed colleges. As per the eligibility criteria of educational qualification

You should complete your degree or diploma or post graduate degree in any of the field of designing, if you are in final year then also be good.

Otherwise you have to complete GD arts diploma programme which is of 10 plus 5 .there is no mention about the backlog examinations in the eligibility criteria . Click on the link below to know everything about CEED.

You are also eligible for NID DAT as the basic eligibility criteria is that you must should pass your 10 plus two level in any of the streams . Actually by giving this examination you will get admit in top National Institute of design colleges in India in bachelor of designing degree.
