I got 84.8 in class 10 and 81.8 in class 12 .My OUAT score is 143 and my ouat percentile is 88.44 . Will I get seat in agriculture in OUAT bhubaneswar

monag2673 8th Aug, 2024

Your OUAT percentile of 88.44 indicates a strong performance in the entrance exam. This significantly increases your chances of securing a seat in OUAT for agriculture.

While your class 10 and 12 percentages are good, they are not the primary determinants for admission. The OUAT entrance exam score holds more weightage.

To confirm your chances:

  1. Check the Previous Year Cutoffs: Analyze the previous year's cutoffs for agriculture under your category (general, reserved, etc.).
  2. Consider Seat Availability: Factors like the number of applicants and available seats can influence cutoffs.
  3. Participate in Counseling: Attend the OUAT counseling process to understand your exact position and available options.

Given your percentile, there's a good possibility of securing a seat in OUAT for agriculture. However, final confirmation depends on various factors and the official cutoff announcement.

Hii!! , i got a rank of 121 in PGECET ,Can i get seat in Andhra university in ece

Prachi Kumari 6th Aug, 2024

Hi,

With a rank of 121 in PGECET, you have a very good chance of securing a seat in the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department at Andhra University. Admissions to Andhra University for postgraduate courses, including M.Tech in ECE, are highly competitive, but a rank of 121 is typically within the range of ranks that can secure a seat in such a well-regarded program.

However, the final decision will depend on various factors, including:

  1. Number of Seats Available : The total number of seats available in the ECE department for the M.Tech program.
  2. Reservation Policy : Reservation policies for different categories (such as General, SC, ST, OBC, etc.).
  3. Previous Year Cut-offs : The cut-off ranks for the previous years can give a good indication of the trend and the likelihood of admission.
  4. Seat Allotment Process : The process of seat allotment, including the counseling sessions, can also influence the final outcome.

It would be beneficial to check the official website of Andhra University or contact their admissions office for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding the cut-off ranks and the admission process for the current academic year.

Hope it helps you!

some peolpesss have 3 lakss rank in cet they can get seat cs-engineering

Kanishka kaushikii 17th Sep, 2024

Yes, it's possible for some people to get a seat in CS engineering with a rank of 3 lakhs in the CET. However, this will largely depend on several factors:

  1. State and College: The specific state and college you're applying to will significantly influence the cutoffs. Some states or colleges may have lower cutoffs for CS engineering, especially for candidates from reserved categories.
  2. Category: Your category (General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.) will play a crucial role. Candidates from reserved categories often have lower cutoffs.
  3. Seat Availability: The number of seats available for CS engineering in the college you're targeting will also affect the cutoffs.
  4. Counseling Process: The counseling process and seat allotment can vary from year to year, and the availability of seats at different stages of counseling can influence the final cutoffs.

It's important to note that a rank of 3 lakhs is generally considered quite high, and securing a seat in a top-tier CS engineering college might be challenging. However, by carefully considering the factors mentioned above and exploring various options, you may still be able to find suitable colleges.

To get a more accurate estimate of your chances, I recommend:

  • Checking the official websites of engineering colleges in your state. They often publish previous year's cutoffs and seat allotment information.
  • Consulting with academic counselors or career advisors. They can provide personalized guidance based on your rank and preferences.
  • Exploring other options: If securing a seat in a top-tier CS engineering college seems difficult, consider other engineering branches or colleges that might be more accessible with your rank.

Remember, persistence and adaptability are key in the admission process. Keep exploring your options and don't give up on your goals.

I hope it helps !!
