The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, conducted the CEED 2026 exam on January 18, 2026, from 9 am to 12 pm. It had notified the CEED 2026 exam date in the CEED notification. CEED Eligibility 2026

IIT Bombay conducts the CEED entrance exam to offer CEED admission for the MDes programme. Through CEED scores, candidates will be able to apply for MDes admission into the CEED participating institutions. The CEED participating institutes list is released online at the official web portal. However, to apply for the CEED entrance exam, candidates must first fulfill the CEED eligibility criteria that has been released through the official brochure.

As per the eligibility criteria of CEED, candidates must have completed a graduate degree/diploma/postgraduate degree program with 3 years of minimum duration, after their 10+2 levels or they must be appearing for final exam of any of these, or must have passed the GD Arts diploma (10+5) by July 2026. Also, there is no age restriction to apply for the CEED 2026 exam.

CEED Application Dates & Process

IIT Bombay closed the CEED 2026 application form on November 10, 2025. The closure dates for the registration period were specified in the CEED exam notification. The CEED registration 2026 was in online mode only. Candidates had to pay the application fee online during the application process. The CEED registration fee was Rs. 4000 for all other candidates whereas the reservation candidates (SC/ST/PWD) and all women candidates need to pay Rs. 2000.

Based on the CEED application process, candidates also had to upload the required scanned documents such as recent photograph, signature, category certificate (if applicable) in the specified format and size provided in the official brochure. Steps to fill the CEED Application Form 2026

  • Visit the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in
  • Click on ‘New Registration’
  • Fill in the details asked and the new login credentials will be generated
  • Click on the application form and login using the allotted user Id and password
  • Select your preferred exam centres
  • Upload the required documents
  • Pay the application fee online
  • Submit and take a print out of the CEED application form for future reference
