DAIICT Entrance Exam 2024: Result, Merit List (Out), Counselling, Selection Process
About DAIICT 2024
Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology released announce the DAIICT M.Des admission status of confirmed and waiting list on July 8, 2024. DAIICT M.Des 2024 admission status is avaialable on the official website - daiict.ac.in. or cbexams.com. Candidates can check their DAIICT 2024 M.Des admission status by entering the login credentials such as DA IICT application number, date of birth and course name. Shortlisted candidates can register and verify the documents at DAIICT campus on July 15.
DA IICT merit list released by the authorities on its official website -daiict.ac.in. DA IICT merit list released on June 29, 2024. Shortlisted candidates are eligible to attend the DAIICT 2024 counselling by using the login credentials such as DA IICT application number, date of birth and course name. Candidates need to pay the fees and confim the DAIICT M.Des seat by July 5, 2024.The authorities conducted DAIICT DAT entrance exam on June 16, 2024.
The authorities issued the DAIICT admit card on its official website - daiict.ac.in. DAIICT admit card 2024 date was June 13. Candidates could check to DAIICT hall ticket by using their login credential such as application number and date of birth. The authorities extended the DAIICT 2024 application form till May 31. The online application form for DAIICT 2024 admission was available on its official website -daiict.ac.in. Interested candidates need to fill out and submit the DAIICT 2024 application form before the specified the date. DAIICT registration form 2024 began on March 14.
Candidates who wish to pursue M.Des degree should have a valid CEED score or appear for Design Aptitude Test. Candidates with a valid CEED score will be selected for interview if they have qualified Part A, and have obtained a minimum of 25 marks in Part B. Final DAIICT admission 2024 will be done based on the combined scores attained in the DAT/CEED and the interview. The DAT will constitute 60%, and the interview 40% of the overall marks assigned to the admission test.
Interested candidates had to submit the online application along with the Statement of Purpose (SOP). Moreover, aspirants had to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1200/- (Total: Rs. 1416/-). plus GST@ 18%. The authorities will call the list for interview on June 19, 2024. Interviews will be conducted on June 24 and June 25, 2024.
Moreover, candidates should have 55% marks or equivalent in the last qualifying degree/examination and are required to submit the provisional Degree certificate or proof of completion of Degree before 30 October 2024 failing which their admission is liable to cancellation.
Registered candidates will be able to download their hall tickets for DAT 2024 from the official website. Aspirants have to use DAIICT application number and date of birth.
Candidates can check their DAIICT exam results in online mode at daiict.ac.in. The result of DAIICT 2024 will be available in the form of a merit list. The authority will release the list of eligible candidates for the Personal Interview round for DAIICT 2024 MDes (CD) admission. The shortlisted candidates appeared for the interview as per the declared schedule. They will be communicated with the link for an online interview.
What is the DAIICT DAT Test?
Design Aptitude Tests consist of 3 parts, each bearing 20 marks.
Part 1: This test will evaluate the candidate’s drawing skills, imaginative visualization, and ability to interpret a problem.
Part 2: This will evaluate the student's recognition and understanding of a range of design idioms, visual/performative art forms, and practices from various social and cultural contexts.
Part 3: The students will be asked to write a subjective response to a Communication Design brief.
NOTE: The students should secure a minimum of 40% in the DAT exam to be considered for the interview process.

The eligibility criteria of DAIICT DAT 2024 include the academic qualifications that the candidates must meet to appear for the entrance exam. DA IICT has not specified any age limit for the candidates who are interested in M.Des programme. Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks or equivalent in the last qualifying exam. Candidates will have to provide their provisional degree certificate or proof that they have completed their undergraduate on or before October 30, 2024. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their admission.
The authorities extended the DA IICT registration form till May 31, 2024. Candidates who want to take admission to the master of the design programme had to fill and submit the DAIICT DAT application form 2024 before the deadline. The application form for DAIICT DAT 2024 began by the authorities on March 14, 2024. The authorities released the DAIICT DAT 2024 exam pattern along with the brochure. The exam pattern of DAIICT DAT 2024 comprises the type of questions that are asked in the entrance test, the mode in which the exam is conducted, the marking scheme, etc.
According to the DAIICT DAT exam pattern, there are two parts and each of them is of 25 marks.
- Part 1 - The questions in this section are designed in such a way as to evaluate the candidate’s imaginative visualization, drawing skills, and ability to interpret the problem.

DAIICT 2024 DAIICT Design Aptitude Test 2024
The DAIICT DAT 2024 merit list released by the authorities in online mode on June 29. The authorities commenced the DAIICT counselling 2024. The candidates can check their DAIICT counselling window at daiict.ac.in by entering their DAIICT application number and date of birth. Selected candidates can participate in the DAIICT counselling 2024. The result of the DAIICT DAT 2024 is in the form of a merit list which was prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the DAIICT DAT 2024 entrance exam, interview as well as a statement of purpose.

Candidates who were shortlisted for admission received the offer letter either through post or through an email address.
Once the candidates have accepted the admission offer for the master's in a design programme, candidates will have to take part in DAIICT counselling 2024 followed by document verification and payment of fees once the admission is confirmed.
DAIICT DAT 2024 selection process comprises the interview and design aptitude test which those candidates will have to take who do not have a valid CEED score. DAIICT DAT exam 2024 was conducted on June 16, 2024.
Candidates who possess a valid CEED 2024 score, they will be exempted from appearing in the design aptitude test 2024. However, they have to appear for an interview based on which final selection is done.

DAIICT don't provides reservation to OBC candidates. so you comes under the open category.
The cutoff for daiict is decided by the JEE Main ranklist. 150 seats out of 300 seats are allocated through state counselling process called ACPC which lies around 15000 according to the past trends. A score of 180 and above is acceptable for admission in it. You can find more details on the link given below :

The admission to DAIICT is based on JEE Mains or GUJCET scores. The online applications for B.Tech will release tentatively during the last week of April. Admissions are conducted at 2 levels; All India level and Gujarat level. For those appearing at All India Level, JEE Mains scores are considered and for Gujarat level admissions, GUJCET scores are considered. There is no separate entrance examination.
