DAIICT MDes Admission 2027: Merit List, Release date, Selection Process
Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT), Gandhinagar, will release the DAIICT MDes 2027 notification on its official website. DAIICT MDes Eligibility Criteria 2027
The institute prescribes the DAIICT 2027 eligibility criteria on its official website: daiict.ac.in. The details of the DAIICT MDes admission eligibility criteria for 2027 are as follows:
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a statutory university in the streams of Fine Arts, Design, Science, Social Sciences, Humanities, Engineering, Technology, Applied Arts, and Performing Arts.
- Professional diplomas from nationally recognised institutions like NIFT, NID, CEPT and Srishti School of Art and Design.
- Candidates must have 55% marks or equivalent in the last qualifying degree/exam.
- There is no age limit for candidates to apply for the MDes programme.
DAIICT MDes Application Form 2027
Authorities will release the DAIICT MDes application form tentatively in March 2027. Interested candidates will be able to apply online from the official website till the deadline. Additionally, candidates are also required to submit a Statement of Purpose, without which their application will not be considered.

The DAIICT MDes DAT 2027 consists of 3 parts with 20 marks for each part. The candidates have to score 40% in the exam to move to the next round, which is an online interview. The DAIICT DAT exam pattern is separate for the two M.Des programmes. The details are given below:

DAIICT MDes Selection Process 2027
The DAIICT MDes admission 2027 is done based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the DAIICT DAT entrance examination and the interview, as per the assigned weightage. Only those candidates who score a minimum of 40% will be called to attend the interview round. The DAIICT MDes 2027 admissions will also be based on the scores of the CEED design aptitude test and will be followed by an interview. Candidates who have appeared for the CEED are exempt from taking the DAT. The CEED scores of such candidates will be taken as equivalent to the DAT.

DAIICT MDes Scholarship
The meritorious students of DAIICT MDes are awarded scholarships throughout the program duration. The scholarship will be awarded to the candidates semester-wise starting from the beginning of the second semester after the declaration of semester results. The DAIICT MDes Scholarship is awarded to students based on their scores obtained in each semester.
