The last step in the AIFD registration 2026 is payment of the application fee. The fee can be paid online. Only candidates who pay the fees wil be considered as registered candidates.

Apart from the above documents, children of army personnel need to submit the following certificates as applicable
Certificate 1 - Certificate for children of army personnel with 10 years of service:
For children of Army Personnel who have served continuously for 10 years in the Army.
Applicable for children of personnel who have been discharged, released, or retired after 10 years of service.
Children of army personnel who died during the service, killed or disabled, or medically boarded with a pension.
Certificate 2 - Certificate for stepchildren or adopted children
Stepchildren born from a marriage where at least one parent served in the Army.
Children adopted at least 5 years before the course are eligible.
Certificate 3 - Certificate for children of Army Medical Corps/AD Corps Officers Officers serving in Navy Medical Establishments, MNS, APS, Air Force, and TA Personnel.
Before completing the registration, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria of AIFD 2026.

NID : Admission is through NID DAT (Design Aptitude Test) . Your portfolio and DAT score matter a lot.
