AP ADCET Previous Year Admission 2025 – 26 (Important Note)

As per the official notification from Dr. YSR Architecture and Fine Arts University (Dr. YSRAFAU), Kadapa, the authorities did not conduct the Art and Design Common Entrance Test (ADCET) for the 2025 admission year. Instead, they offered admissions to BFA and B.Des programmes. The authorities have not yet confirmed whether they will conduct the AP ADCET 2026 exam.

Based on the previous year’s admission process, the examination authorities will give ranks based on marks secured by the candidates in the exam. In case of a tie, they will decide the merit order based on the candidate’s date of birth, giving preference to the older candidate. Admissions are given based on rank subject to meeting the eligibility criteria. The medium of instruction for all courses will be English, and candidates must write all examinations in English after admission.

AP ADCET 2026 Counselling Process

Candidates who clears the AP ADCET 2026 exam are only eligible for the counselling process.The selection process for AP ADCET will be completely based on university rules and regulations. • Candidates will be allotted seats based on their entrance exam rank. This will also be based on the preferred course by the student during application form.

• As per university rules, around 85% of the seats are given to the reserved categories of local candidates. Local candidates should belong to all 29 districts of Andhra Pradhesh.

• The remaining 15% of the seats will be given to other non-local candidates based on merit list.
