NID Studio Test

NID Studio test 2026 will be a paper-and-pencil/pen test as per the exam pattern which will be of total 100 marks which is most likely to include drawing, sketching, model making or group activities. NID entrance exam 2026 will be conducted in English language. Student’s logical, observation skills, problem solving and creative skills will be tested in this section.

NIFT Situation Test

As per the NIFT 2026 Situation Test pattern, the NIFT Situation Test 2026 could consist of 2 questions which are mostly 3-D modelling-based construction questions. Candidates will be provided with 120 minutes by the examiner to finish the model and provide a write-up for the given questions.

NID Studio Test is more open minded with its questions and evaluation is usually based on students' innovative and creative skills with model making and design thinking abilities. NIFT Situation Test is seen to have a more constant structure of question with evaluation on student’s creative skills and design execution for a specific scenario based question.

3. Model Making Skills and write up:

NID Studio test focuses more on the model making skills with optional write up that may vary on length and weightage whereas NIFT Situation test is frequent with questions based on model making and short complimentary write up skills for students.

• Students are needed to work on their Observation, creative and memory skills for the NID Studio Test and Sketching section as it is examined carefully by the examiners in NID.

How to Prepare for NIFT Situation Test 2026
