    KS DAT Eligibility Criteria 2024

    The authorities have released the KS DAT 2024 eligibility criteria on the official website - lbsapplications.kerala.gov.in. The candidates appearing for the KS DAT 2024 entrance examination have to fulfill the eligibility criteria which are as follows.

    • Candidates should have passed 10+2 conducted by the Board of HSE Kerala or an examination equivalent thereto as approved by KTU with the minimum marks as prescribed by AICTE.

    • Candidates have to mention the same percentage as received in the examination. The acquired percentage of marks should not be rounded off to the nearest number.

    Nativity

    Only Indian citizens are eligible for admission to B.DES courses unless otherwise notified. The Overseas Citizen of India Cardholder (including PIO cardholder) shall be eligible for admission only against any Non-Resident Indian seat or any supernumerary seat, provided that the OCI cardholder shall not be eligible for admission against any seat reserved exclusively for Indian citizens.

    Candidates seeking admission to B.DES course will be categorised as Keralite, Non-Keralite

    Category I (NK I) and Non-Keralite Category II (NK II).

    Keralite: A candidate of Kerala origin will be categorised as a ‘Keralite’. Children of All India

    Service (AIS) officers (Non-Keralites) allotted to Kerala cadre are deemed to be ‘Keralites’, however, they will not be eligible for Communal/Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession.

    Non-Keralite Category I (NK I): A candidate who is not of Kerala origin but fulfils anyone of

    the following conditions will be categorised as 'Non-Keralite Category I' (NK I).

    • A candidate who has undergone qualifying course in Kerala and who is son/daughter of Non-Keralite parents belonging to Government of India/Defence Service, posted to Kerala.

    • A candidate who has undergone qualifying course in Kerala and who is son/daughter of Non-Keralite parents who are serving/served Government of Kerala for a minimum period of two years.

    • A candidate who is not of Kerala Origin but has been a resident of Kerala State for a period of 5(five) years within the period of 12(twelve) years of his/her study.

    • A candidate who is not of Kerala Origin but who has undergone his/her school studies in Kerala from standard VIII to XII.

    • Non-Keralite Category I candidates will be considered against ‘State Merit’ seats for B.DES course. But they will not be eligible for Communal/ Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession.

    Non-Keralite Category II [NK II]: Candidates who do not come under ‘Keralite’ or 'NonKeralite Category I' will be categorised as ‘Non-Keralite Category II'. Such candidates are eligible for admission to both Government and Management quota seats in B.DES course in Government controlled Self-Financing colleges. However the ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates will be considered for admission to the Government seats in B.DES course in Government CostSharing colleges only when the Keralite and Non-Keralite I (NK I) candidates are not available for admission. ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates are also eligible for admission to both Government and Management quota seats in Private Self-financing colleges. The ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates will not be eligible for Communal/ Special/ Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession.

    KS DAT Application Form 2024

    The conducting authority extended the KS DAT 2024 application form filling process. Candidates had to fill out the application form and register themselves before the last date of registration, June 10.     Candidates who register successfully can complete the application process using the login credentials allotted to them.     Steps to fill out the application form for KS DAT 2024

    • Candidates must visit the official website - lbsapplications.kerala.gov.in

    • Check for the “Registration for KS DAT 2024” link

    • Fill in the complete details to register.

    • After successful registration, the candidate is allocated login credentials: user id and password.

    • Fill out the KS DAT 2024 application form, upload the certificates and images, and complete it as requested.

    • Pay the application fee as prescribed by the authority.

    • Apply and take a print for future reference.

    KS DAT Admit Card 2024

    KS DAT Counselling and Seat Allotment 2024

    Aspirants who qualified the entrance exam areeligible for the KS DAT 2024 counselling and seat allotment process. Aspirants had to submit their preferred course and college during the KS DAT 2024 choice filling process. Based on the filled in choices, the KS DAT 2024 seat allotment is done.
