IIT Bombay earlier conducted CEED 2026 on January 18, 2026. Candidates who obtain a valid score and rank in the CEED result 2026 will be eligible to apply for MDes admission at participating IITs.

The CEED result for Part A will be displayed for all candidates who appeared for the exam. However, the CEED result for part B can be downloaded only by those candidates who cleared the CEED part A cutoff. It must be noted that, as per the CEED 2026 result evaluation criteria, the CEED part B is evaluated only for those candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in part A.
After declaring the CEED 2026 result, the authorities will release the CEED 2026 scorecard on March 10, 2026. Candidates can download it through their login till July 31, 2026. The CEED scorecard will be valid only for admissions in the academic year 2026-27. There is no centralised counselling for CEED admissions. Therefore, candidates have to separately apply to the CEED participating institutes and qualify in the selection process conducted by each institute to secure seat allotment. Each institute will publish its own CEED cutoff for shortlisted candidates.
The selection process for the CEED colleges usually includes an initial screening based on CEED 2026 scores. The candidates then have to appear for a Design Aptitude Test and an interview round, based on which the final admissions will be made.
