IIT Delhi offers a 4-year course through UCEED. This 4 year course will help the students to become responsible designers in future who can turn their ideas into tangible solutions to help in better and sustainable designing. The department of design at IIT Guwahati offers a four year B.Des programme through UCEED. The course is designed to teach the students design from the very basic level. As the course proceeds the students delve into multiple spectrums of design. From graphic design, product design to furniture design the students learn multiple types of designing. IIT Hyderabad has a full time 4 years BDes course which takes the students from the general foundation course in design to introductory level and then to detailed domains at the final stage. The students are free to develop their design thinking, problem solving skills through the course. Students can then choose from the area of their interest from the core domains of product design, visual communication and interaction design. IIITDM Jabalpur has a B.Des course which aims to provide a holistic perspective of design to the students. The curriculum is designed to develop designers with strong fundamentals about designing and who can navigate through the complex area of designing.
