IIT Bombay offers a unique B.Des course through the Industrial Designs Centre at the institute. The unique place of the program comes from its dual degree nature. Students can have the choice to pursue and integrate BDes and MDes in the third year of their B.Des program. The duration of the B.Des course is 4 years and the integrated course is 5 years. The department of design at IIT Guwahati offers a four year B.Des programme through UCEED. The course is designed to teach the students design from the very basic level. As the course proceeds the students delve into multiple spectrums of design. From graphic design, product design to furniture design the students learn multiple types of designing. The students are also made to do projects in the final year of their course to have hands-on experience in designing. IIT Guwahati has a total seats of 56. IIT Hyderabad has a full time 4 years BDes course which takes the students from the general foundation course in design to introductory level and then to detailed domains at the final stage. IIITDM Jabalpur UCEED Courses with Fees

IIITDM Jabalpur has a B.Des course which aims to provide a holistic perspective of design to the students. The curriculum is designed to develop designers with strong fundamentals about designing and who can navigate through the complex area of designing. Product design, communication design, space design, interaction or service design are some of the most common areas offered.
