Graphic Design Entrance Exam - Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the graphic designer entrance exam varies depending on the institute, courses offered, and duration of the programme. The minimum eligibility criteria for the candidates who want to pursue BDes in graphic designing is completing 10+2 (any stream) from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. And for the candidates who want to pursue MDes the minimum eligibility is to hold a Bachelor’s degree. The age limit varies depending on the university. CEED

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture/Design/Interior Design or equivalent after 12th grade.

  • Candidates must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level).

  • There is no age limit.

NID DAT

  • BDes- Candidates must pass 10+2 final examinations from a recognised state or central board by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)


  • MDes- Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree of 4 years in any specialisation from a recognized university or college.

MITID DAT

  • B.Des- 10+2 from any stream

  • M.Des- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline

UCEED

  • The candidate should have passed all subjects in the qualifying examination in 12th grade or equivalent

AIEED

  • UG- Students who have passed class 10+2 (CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board/NIOS or equivalent as per UGC Guidelines)


  • PG- Graduates or students pursuing graduation in any discipline from a recognised university

SEED

  • 10+2 from any stream or equivalent

  • 10+3 diploma with minimum 50% marks

UPES DAT

  • BDes- Minimum 50% marks at Higher and Senior Secondary level (class 10 & 12) (Any Stream)


  • MDes- Minimum 50% marks at Higher and Senior Secondary Level (Class 10 & 12).

Minimum 50% marks in bachelor’s degree in any stream: 10+2+3 years (B.Des./B.Arch./ B.Tech./ BFA graduates will be preferred)

SMEAT

  • 10+2 from any of the Indian boards or the international boards.

  • The applicant's age should be between 18 to 25 for the undergraduate program.
