Lots of students make the rookie mistake of starting new subjects in the last few weeks before the NIFT exam. This only leads to a last-minute rush and frustration. First and foremost, it will shorten your revision period. Second, tackling an unknown subject close to the exam may produce unnecessary worry if you become overwhelmed or fail to make progress.

  • Study in exam mode

Repetition builds trust and confidence. When solving any papers, try to recreate the exam situations. Set a timer to simulate real examination limits and solve previous year NIFT sample papers to imitate section jumps.

  • Conduct NIFT Mock tests

These NIFT mock tests are an essential part of the preparation process. Unlike sample papers, mock tests are suited for the last few days before the exam. It is because the purpose of these examinations is to provide an exam-like atmosphere in which one can train and adapt one's internal clock to simulate test schedules.

  • Enhance Your Problem-Solving Skills

Improve your problem-solving skills for NIFT, which involves a combination of creativity and rationality. Improve your problem-solving skills by removing erroneous answers in multiple-choice questions, breaking down difficult issues into smaller, more manageable chunks, and employing approximation strategies to save time on mathematical aptitude tests. For practice more questions in the Reasoning section, you can refer to the article NIFT Analytical Ability Questions with Answers.

  • Perform quick revisions

Keeping a notepad allows you to make rapid modifications without having to read long paragraphs. Therefore, it is advised that candidates preserve their notes from the very beginning of their exam preparation. Students may solve NIFT Previous Year Question Papers with Solutions for better preparation.

  • Check out Regularly asked questions

Refer to NIFT previous years question papers to understand topics which are covered in the same way throughout all NIFT exams.

Hello,
It’s completely understandable to feel disheartened after not getting a seat in the first and second rounds, especially when you’ve filled all the colleges and have your hopes set on a particular course like Fashion Communication . With an OBC rank of 1910 and CMR 7192, your chances can improve in the upcoming counselling rounds as more students withdraw or shift to other colleges.
So make sure to check the further rounds of counselling and don’t lose hope. Many students get seats in the 3rd, 4th, and mop-up rounds. You can also consider updating your preference list or keeping a wider range of courses and campuses open in case you're okay with related fields.
Keep checking the official NIFT website for updates on seat allotment and further counselling instructions.
Thank you
