NID DAT Exam Dress Code 2026

The NID dress code was not prescribed by the institution, but it is usually followed to maintain the decorum of the exam. The candidates were advised to wear comfortable clothing which suits the weather for the NID 2026 exam. The candidates must ensure that there are no heavy buttons or layering in the clothing which can hide any prohibited items. The clothing is advised to be devoid of logos so that the students can appear in the exam distraction-free.

  • The exam will be conducted in January 2026, tentatively, which will have cold weather across almost India. The candidates need to wear clothes appropriate to the weather.

NID Dress Code for Females

There is no official NID dress code for female students. However, the female students must ensure that the clothing is appropriate for a formal situation and avoid unnecessary accessories. They could not carry any heavy jewellery such as earrings, rings, bracelets, necklaces, or hair accessories. NID dress code for females suggests wearing jewellery which causes loud noise and can be distracting to other candidates must be avoided.
