The NIFT Mumbai counselling process is the final step to offer admission. The shortlisted students have to register themselves to participate in the NIFT counselling that commences after the declaration of NIFT results. The registration process of the counselling needs and application process to be filled with state domicile, date of birth, personal details etc. along with filling in the choice of institutes and locking them. Online registration process

The students who are qualified need to register themselves online. The students need to follow these steps in order to complete the online registration process for e-counselling:

• The candidates need to enter their roll number, application number, name, mother's name, Date of birth which needs to be authenticated. If it is authenticated successfully, the candidates will need to create a password to complete the registration process.

• Once the password is generated the candidates will need to login again using the roll number and password and they will be redirected to fill up the remaining application form.

• The candidates need to submit the registration form after filling up information regarding date of birth, father's name etc. the students will need to also provide details such as qualifications and contact information.

• Students will have to upload the document which is shown on their candidate's credentials.
