Considering the previous year cut off here is the list of institutes in which you have chances of getting seat under General category in Fashion Design

  • NIFT, Bhubaneswar: 1159
  • NIFT, Jodhpur: 1237
  • NIFT, Kangra: 1586
  • NIFT, Kannur: 1666
  • NIFT, Panchkula: 1401

The cut off mentioned is the previous year cut off for general category. Cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates applied, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. To check the cut off you may use the link given below

A rank of 1450 in Nift 2022 is indeed to a good rank and can fetch nift colleges for sure. However there are conditions which are important for the consideration of the cut offs like -

  1. Choices filled by the candidate.
  2. Number of candidates appearing in the examination.
  3. Difficulty level of the examination.
  4. Number of vacant seats.

In 2022 NIFT Entrance Examination was conducted in 32 cities. The candidates have to select the preference of the examination cities while filling the application form. Based on the availability, preferences of the examination cities you will be allotted an examination center. You have to appear for NIFT Entrance Examination in the allotted examination center as per the given schedule. You can select any city where examination is conducted while filling your preferences, make sure that you select the cities such that you can commute on the day of examination easily. Next year the list of examination cities may increase or decrease, the cities may vary.
