NID Ahmedabad offers hostels to the students of the campus. The capacity of the hostel is for about 200 students. The students can avail single occupancy as well as shared rooms. Adherence to the rules and regulations is mandatory and for the convenience of the students a warden will be allotted for taking care of day to day functioning of the hostel.

An accommodation of 450 boys and 200 girls is available in the NID Assam campus. The rooms have shared occupancy and strict adherence to the rules and regulations is prescribed. Student mess is run on a contractual basis by the institution. Students in NID Ahmedabad hostel and NID hostel Paldi campus can use this facility. The students' mess committee is responsible for overseeing the operation of this mess. The students deciding in the rooms of NID hostels must have a compulsory subscription to the mess facilities. The best charges of the entire semester will be collected by the institution in advance with the semester fees in the beginning of the semester. Along with that the students also get the facilities of healthcare and counselling. Extracurricular activities are also organised by the students activity committee which is the social cultural organisation.

No, IPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) does not accept NID DAT Prelims score for admission to the B.Des (Bachelor of Design) program.
Instead, IPU conducts its own entrance test or may consider CUET (UG) scores for B.Des admissions, depending on the latest admission guidelines. Always refer to the university's official prospectus for the year you're applying to for the final admission criteria.
