NPAT 2021 B.Des Eligibility Criteria
It is mandatory for the candidates to fulfil the NPAT B.Des eligibility criteria to gain admission in 9 campuses of NMIMS. Check the NPAT B.Des 2021 eligibility criteria which is listed below.
Candidate must have passed 10+2 exam or its equivalent examination including the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Applicants must keep in mind that IB certificate / & D.P. are eligible only if they have cleared their IB exam with a total of 24 credits having passed 3 HL (minimum 12 credits) & 3 SL (minimum 09 credits) in any stream from a recognized Board in the first attempt and must obtain at least 60% aggregate mark.
CBSE and ICSE candidates must mention their 10+2 or equivalent aggregate marks of all the subjects in the online registration form. Students must note that best of four, five, six or seven will not be considered.
If the mark sheet is in percentile, then the actual aggregate percentage of all the subjects will be taken into consideration.
Candidates must not exceed 25 years of age.
Candidates who have completed the 10+2 examination from overseas universities are required to submit the AIU equivalent certificate.
IB and Cambridge candidates selected for admission on the basis of merit list and fail to provide their 10+2 or equivalent examination mark sheets will be given provisional admission based on predicted scores. Their admission will be confirmed only after the submission of the final mark sheet before the commencement of the session.
Candidates who have passed or appearing for 10+2 exam from a Board/University where Grade Point Average is given must produce in writing the equivalent percentage for the GPA /CGPA obtained from the concerned Board/University.
If candidates final mark sheet is not available at the time of admission then they must upload internet copy of result duly attested by Principal of the school/college.
Compartmentalized mark sheet will be considered, only a single mark sheet with all compulsory subjects taken/opted and passed in the first attempt is mandatory.
Candidates are required to pass the 10+2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt.
