1. Merit-Based Scholarships during Admission

Merit scholarships at the time of admission are awarded to top-performing candidates based on their overall performance in the admission process. These scholarships range from partial to full fee waivers, recognizing excellence and potential.

The final internal admission score serves as the main criterion for selection, and the exact scholarship amount is communicated in the applicant’s offer letter.

2. Special Scholarships through Application

Special Scholarships through Application are granted to students who exhibit exceptional talent or all-round excellence in academics, sports, or other fields. Eligibility and requirements include:

• Academic Excellence:
  Candidates with top ranks at the state, board, or national level in academics are eligible.

• Sports Achievements:
  Students who have secured 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in state, national, or international tournaments may apply. Certificates must be submitted to admission@flame.edu.in after receiving an admission offer.

Note for Candidates:

• State Level: Certificates issued by the concerned sports Association, which is recognized by IOA will only be considered.

• National Level: Certificates issued by the concerned sports Federation recognized by IOA, and the certificates issued by SGFI will only be considered.

• International Level: Certificates issued by the concerned sports Federation recognized by IOA will only be considered.

• A merit certificate for the age category of Under-14 (aged 12 - 13 - 14) and above will be considered.

• National/State-level achievers in fields other than academics or sports shall be considered as well

3. Need-based Financial Aid

Students facing loss of funding resulting from a death of a close family member (parent, sibling), serious illness, or any other circumstance which makes it difficult for the student to generate funds on their own, can approach the university officials for emergency tuition fee support.

Purpose

• Designed to assist students facing sudden financial difficulties due to unforeseen circumstances, such as:
  1. Loss of a parent or sibling.
  2. Serious illness in the family.
  3. Any other situation that limits the student’s ability to arrange tuition funds.

Application Process

• Students in need can contact university officials to request emergency tuition assistance.

• Upon receiving the request, the FLAME University admissions team will provide a detailed list of required documents for evaluation.

Documentation

• Supporting documents must be clear, complete, and submitted in PDF format.

• Incomplete or illegible submissions will not be considered for review or approval.

4. Merit scholarships for enrolled students

Merit Scholarships for Enrolled Students are designed to recognize and reward outstanding academic achievement among current FLAME University students. To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria at the time of application:

• Be ranked within the top 5% of their batch for the FLAME University acceptance rate on the scholarship.

• Maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 8.50.

Each year, a list of eligible students is compiled based on their overall academic performance. Those who qualify and are not already receiving another scholarship may be granted this merit-based award for the remaining duration of their program.

FLAME University Scholarship Requirements

Scholarship Conditions at FLAME University ensure that awards are maintained based on consistent academic and disciplinary performance. Key points include:

• Scholarships are granted for the full duration of the program and split equally between two semesters each year.

• The Scholarship Committee reviews performance every term/semester. To continue receiving the scholarship, students must maintain a GPA and CGPA of at least 7.0 (or 8.50 for those under the “Merit Scholarship for Enrolled Students” category).

• Students who fall below the required GPA are placed on academic probation for the next semester and lose their scholarship for that term. Failure to meet the criteria for two consecutive semesters will result in permanent withdrawal of the scholarship.

• Scholarships may also be revoked for disciplinary reasons. Scholarship recipients must complete on-campus work of up to 12 hours per week during the semesters they receive the benefit.

• The scholarship amount is deducted directly from semester fees and not disbursed in cash. If a student withdraws from the program, they must repay the scholarship amount already granted.

• The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to revise, modify, or cancel scholarship policies at any time.

• If any false or inaccurate information is discovered, the scholarship will be immediately withdrawn, and the student may be required to pay full fees or face dismissal from the program.
