IICD 2019 - Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD), Jaipur conducted Part B of IICD from June 1 to 10. The result for Part B (first list of qualified candidates) will be announced on June 14, 2019 while the second list will be declared on June 22, 2019. The result for IICD Part A was declared in online mode on April 25, 2019. The authorities conducted IICD entrance test in the offline mode on April 14, 2019 for the undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in crafts and designs. The IICD entrance test 2019 is conducted in two parts- Part A and Part B. IICD 2019, Part A entrance exam was conducted on April 14, 2019. The entrance test part A is based on general awareness, creativity and perception test while part B consists of material, colour and conceptual test followed by an interview. Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD), Jaipur sent the IICD 2019 admit card to candidate's registered email ID on April 5. The application form of IICD 2019 was available in online mode from November 28, 2018 to April 3, 2019. Students who are appearing for the entrance test must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before filling the form. Students can go through IICD 2019 article to know all the information about important dates, eligibility criteria, application form, exam pattern, syllabus, admit card, result etc and other essential details.

IICD Result 2019

The authorities will announce the result for part B on June 14, which will be first list of qualified candidates. The result of IICD 2019 entrance test (Part A) was announced in online mode on April 25, 2019. Students received an email regarding the announcement of result. The result contains candidate’s enrollment number, and date of part B test. The Indian Institute of Crafts and Design also publishes a waitlist of candidates.

IICD Entrance Test Selection Procedure 2019

The shortlisted candidate in Part A were eligible to appear for Part B followed by interview. To appear for the part B test and interview, students had visit Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD), Jaipur, along with their admit card on the specified date mentioned against their enrollment number in the merit list. Both the tests were conducted from June 1 to 10, 2019. The selected candidates will be informed about their selection through an admission letter, which they will receive at their email ID. The admission letter will contain details with respect to payment of fees at the time of admission, allotment of Hostel and date, time and venue of commencement of the academic session.

Note - Candidates must note that the admission offer letter will be valid only for the current academic session 2019 - 2020.

IICD Entrance Exam Pattern 2019

IICD Entrance Exam 2019 is conducted in the offline mode only. The test is conducted in two parts-Part A and Part B. The part A of entrance test consists of General Awareness, Creativity & Perception Test while part B includes Material, Color & Conceptual Test. There are 32 questions in total in the test Part A and was conducted on April 14, 2019 from 10:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. The medium of the IICD paper is English and the total marks allotted for the exam is 100. Part A is held for two hours while Part B is conducted for three hours. Part B exam for IICD 2019 was conducted from June 1 to 10.

The admission is offered to candidates based on their score in the test and performance in the interview.

Material required for Material, Color & Conceptual Test: Students must carry pens, pencils (2B, 4B & 6B), paper cutter, fevistick, eraser, color pencils/dry pastels/watercolor, scissor, scale, cello tape.

Portfolio –Candidates are advised to bring some sample of their creative work to show the interview panel as this will help the panel to get an idea of candidates’ capabilities. The sample of your could be anything , such as sketching, painting, embroidery, photography, worked with material, or written anything creative.

IICD Admit Card 2019

The IICD 2019 entrance test admit card was mailed to candidates’ email ID by April 5, 2019. Students who appeared for the test had to carry the printout of the admit card to the examination hall, along with one original identity proof. Students must check that their names on their identity proof must match with the name entered in the registration form. Those who did not receive the admit card on the stipulated time, they had to get in touch with IICD’s admissions cell at the following contact details
