Candidates appearing for the NIFT 2026 must ensure they carry all the required documents on the NIFT exam day. NIFT 2026 is scheduled to be held on February 8, 2026. If a candidate fails to produce the required documents, then it may lead them to disqualification from the NIFT exam, even if the candidate has successfully registered. The documents are required to:
Verify the candidate’s identity
To confirm eligibility for the NIFT 2026 entrance exam
And to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the examination
Candidates are required to check their documents at least a day before the NIFT exam to avoid last-minute issues.
On the day of examination, candidates are required to carry the following documents in original and valid form:
NIFT 2026 admit card (Printed copy)
One valid photo ID proof, such as:
Aadhaar Card
Voter ID
Passport
PAN Card
Driving License
Two recent passport-size photographs
PwD Certificate (if applicable)
Medical certificate (if required as per NIFT guidelines)

Note: Digital copy of NIFT admit card or ID proof are not accepted at the examination centre.
Along with carrying the required documents, candidates are required to follow these important instructions.
Reach the NIFT exam centre as per the reporting mentioned in the admit card.
Do not carry prohibited items such as- Mobile Phones, Smart Watches, Study Material, or Calculator
Follow all the instructions mentioned in the NIFT admit card
Candidates can carry a transparent pen or pencil pouch if allowed
Candidates should wear simple cloths to avoid unnecessary frisking
If a candidate fails to carry a NIFT admit card or valid photo ID proof then they may not be allowed to enter the examination hall under any circumstances.
