IICD 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Authorities will release the IICD 2027 eligibility criteria along with the 2027 prospectus on its official website. As per the previous year’s data, the IICD eligibility criteria include details such as minimum educational qualification, minimum passing marks, and other relevant details to secure admission into the design programmes. B.Design:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised education board.

M.Design:

• Candidates must have passed graduation in design and architecture from a recognised institution/university, which includes B.Des, B.Arch, B.Voc in Design, and BSc. in Design.

• Candidates appearing for the final-year graduation examinations may also apply.

The Indian Institute of Crafts and Design, Jaipur, will open the IICD 2027 application form on its official website. • Complete initial registration using email ID, mobile number and date of birth to obtain login credentials

IICD Application Fees:

As per the previous year’s data, candidates are required to make an online payment of Rs.1750 as an application fee. The application fee for foreign nationals will be around Rs.3500.

IICD 2027 Exam Pattern

The IICD 2027 exam pattern will be released on the official website - iicd.ac.in. The IICD exam pattern includes the examination mode, concepts, weightage, and more. First, candidates have to appear for the entrance exam, and then appear for a personal interview.

• The IICD entrance exam's first part will focus on the general awareness, creativity, and perception tests. This test evaluates the interest and abilities in students, such as estimation of sizes and proportions, observation, synthesis, visual interpretation, and general knowledge.

  
  

• The IICD entrance exam's second part will focus on the material, colour, and conceptual test. It will evaluate candidates on the intelligent use of materials and conceptualising and creating a 3-dimensional form. It will also evaluate the candidate's thinking skills and ability to come up with solutions in a descriptive form.

  
  

• The IICD personal interview round is the last stage of the examination process, which focuses on candidates' aptitude in crafts, IQ, communication ability, general awareness about crafts & design, and achievements in academics and extra-curricular activities.

The Indian Institute of Crafts and Design will release the IICD 2027 admit card on its official website. As per the previous year’s trends, along with the admit card, the authorities will release the question paper on the same portal. Candidates will have to use their registered email ID and password to download their IICD admit card. IICD 2027 Selection Process

The IICD exam selection process is based on the candidates' performance in the IICD 2027 entrance exam, which consists of an entrance exam and an interview round. All the candidates who have completed their application and registration process will have to appear for the IICD entrance exam on the prescribed date. Based on the candidates' performance, authorities will shortlist the candidates for the personal interview round. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the interview round along with their admit card, conducted in the IICD, Jaipur campus, on the specified dates.
