SEAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology prescribed the eligibility criteria of SEAT 2020 which has to be fulfilled by the candidates to appear in the entrance exam. Candidates are advised to go through the stipulated eligibility criteria to check whether they are eligible or not before filling out the application form of SEAT 2020. The key criteria of SEAT 2020 specified the qualifying exam, the minimum marks to be secured in the qualifying exam, age limit etc. The prescribed SEAT 2020 eligibility criteria are mentioned in the following table.

  • Candidates should have complete Senior Secondary/State Boards/Junior College/Intermediate/HSSC/PUC from National Institute of Open Schooling, New Delhi (NIOS)

  • Candidates should have complete High School Diploma (USA / CANADA)


Others Eligibility Criteria

  1. The application must be between the ages of 18 to 35 for its undergraduate programmes.
  2. Applicants who appeared in UCEED 2020 and get a rank of 1000 or below are exempted from appearing in General Ability Test (GAT).
  3. Students who have taken Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) between March 2019 to June 2020 and whose composite score in 1100 or above can select to exempt fro GAT exam.


SEAT 2020 Application Form

The concerned authority released the SEAT application form 2020 for Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3 on March 12, 2020 via online and offline. Before filing the application form candidates must be aware of the eligibility criteria of SEAT 2020. Eligible candidates have to fill the form completely and submit it before the deadline. Aspirants can also fill the application form of SEAT 2020 in offline mode. To fill out the form, candidates are required to purchase the SEAT 2020 application form the institution. Candidates will have to fill the required details in the registration form. Candidates have to mailed the filled in application form with a demand draft to the address mentioned on the form.

However the entrance exam for SEAT 2020 round 2 will be held at Bangalore only.

SEAT Exam Pattern 2020

Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology has not stipulated any kind of exam pattern for SEAT 2020. The entrance test will be conducted in offline mode for three hours. Candidates have to appear in three tests of SEAT 2020 to get admission for UG in the design programme.

However aspirants who have secured 600 or less in the All India Rank of UCEED will be required to appear in the SEAT 2020 exam. But those candidates who have appeared in the UCEED test and secured rank between 601 to 1000 are exempted from appearing the first stage of the test SEAT 2020.

SEAT 2020 Sample Papers

SEAT Sample Papers 2020 will give an idea to the students related to the features of the exam. Through the sample paper of SEAT 2020, aspirants will be aware of the type of questions that will be asked in the exam, on what topic the focus is more, question pattern, difficulty level of the questions and many more. SEAT 2020 Admit Card

The eligible candidates who successfully filled in the application form of SEAT 2020 and submit it before the due date will be provided the admit card of SEAT 2020. Aspirants will receive a link to download the SEAT 2020 admit card on their registered email id and mobile number. The authority will release the hall ticket of SEAT for all the rounds. The admit card of SEAT will include the details such as the name of the candidates, roll number, exam centres, exam date & time and guideline to be followed in the exam hall. Candidates are required to carry the admit card along with the proof of identity at the examination venue. If any candidates fail to produce the hall ticket at the exam hall, then they shall not be allowed to appear in the entrance test.

What are the instructions to be followed in the SEAT 2020 entrance test?

Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology specified the guidelines to be followed by the candidates during entrance test in the examination hall. The instruction to be followed in the SEATS 2020 are mentioned below

  • Candidates must carry the printed copy of the SEAT admit card 2020 at the exam centre along with the identity card.

  • Candidates shall not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the completion of the entrance test.

  • Any kind of impersonation will be considered as a criminal offence and candidates will be rejected from the exam.

  • Any kind of study material, mobile phone, smart phone, smart watches, calculator, digital watches and tablets are prohibited.

SEAT 2020 Result

The result of the SEAT 2020 will be released by the concerned authority separately for all the rounds- Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3 on April 29, May 25 and June 26, 2020 respectively in online mode. Candidates can check the result from the official website of Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology. Candidates can check the result by entering the SEAT 2020 Admit card number in the link to check the result. However candidates will be considered admission after the payment of the course fee and document verification.

SEAT 2020 Cutoff

Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology will release the cutoff SEAT 2020 after the entrance test. The cutoff is the minimum marks which candidates have to secure to get admission in the institution. Candidates who have cleared the entrance test will have to showcase their portfolio and face an interview. Candidates will be offered admission after qualifying all the stages of the selection process.

Yes you can expect a seat in your home state NIT if your home state NIT is a lower NIT like NIT Agartala, NIT Uttarakhand, etc. You might also get lower branch like biochem, chem, etc in your home state NITs.

In 2019 the cut off through GATE for M.Tech in Machine design for General category was 10897 for M.tech in CAD CAM was 8648.There are less chances that you may get seat in JNTU, Kakinada with your rank.But cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.

Considering previous year cut off trends you may not get seat in IIT or NIT with such score rank.Your rank must be to be in top 100 ranks to be able to get admission in IIT or NIT.I regret to tell you that you won't be able to get admission.However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.

To get Under Thousand Rank you have to get 300+ in you Jee mains(Considering General).

To get CSE in IIT Kgp you need to get under 200 rank as last year the closing rank was around 202 for cse.
