SEAT 2018

SEAT 2018 - Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology will conduct Srishti Entrance and Aptitude Test (SEAT) 2018 in third week of April for admissions to undergraduate design programmes. The Institute will offer admissions to nearly 200 seats at its Bangalore campus and around 100 seats at Pune centre on the basis of merit in SEAT 2018. The entrance test will assess awareness and a basic understanding capabilities of candidates pertinent to design. SEAT 2018, portfolio review and counselling will be conducted in Bangalore for programmes and courses offered at the Bangalore centre. Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) degree will be awarded by The University of Mysore. The total fee for four years will be nearly 20 lakhs. SEAT Selection Procedure 2018

Admission to Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology will comprise following:

  • Successful completion of the Srishti Entrance and Aptitude Test (SEAT) 2018 followed by a portfolio review and interview.

  • Declaration and proof of Minimum Educational Qualifications (MEQ)

SEAT Important Dates 2018

Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology has not announced the important dates of SEAT 2018 yet. But it is expected that it will conduct the entrance exam in third week of April 2018.

SEAT Eligibility Criteria 2018

Applicants must have passed any one of the following:

  • National or International Boards- CBSE/ISC/IB/AICE/A Level

  • State Boards, Junior College, Intermediate, HSSC, PUC, Senior Secondary

  • National institute of open schooling (NIOS), New Delhi- Senior Secondary

  • NSQF Certification Level IV completed

  • State Board Of Technical Education- Diploma

  • High School Diploma (USA/Canada)

SEAT Application Form 2018

Application form of SEAT 2018 will be available in online mode. Candidates will be required to download part 1 and part 2 of the SEAT 2018 application form.

How to fill SEAT application form 2018?

Applicants will be required to follow the below explained simple steps in order to fill the application form of SEAT 2018:

Step 1- Download SEAT 2018 application form

Candidates will have to click on the online link to get the registration form. They will be required to register and download SEAT application form 2018.

Step 2- Fill SEAT 2018 registration form

Candidates will be required to fill their personal, educational and contact details. Following fields have to be filled-

  • Candidate’s name

  • Father’s name

  • Mother’s name

  • Address

  • Mobile number

  • Qualification

  • Date of birth

  • Gender

  • Test centre preference

  • Course preference

  • Photograph

  • Signature

Step 3- Pay application fee

Next, candidates will have to pay the application fees (non-refundable) via demand draft. SEAT 2018 application fees is Rs.5000 which has to be paid via DD drawn in favour of Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore. Candidate’s name should be written clearly on the reverse side of the DD.

Step 4- Post SEAT 2018 application form

Finally, applicants will have to compile the below-mentioned documents and accompany the same with their duly filled SEAT 2018 registration form:

  • Copies of Mark sheets/transcripts

  • Copy of birth certificate/Class X certificate

  • Two recent passport size coloured photographs

  • Copy of photo ID issued by Government of India

  • Hand written Personal Statement in blue ink to be attached separately

SEAT Admit Card 2018

Admit card of SEAT 2018 will be available in online mode. It will be sent to the candidates on their registered email address. They will be required to take a clear printout of the same. They are advised to keep two copies of the admit card with themselves. On the exam day, candidates are required to carry the SEAT 2018 admit card with a valid photo ID card.   

 

SEAT Exam Pattern 2018

SEAT 2018, a written exam (test 1), of between two to three hours in duration will be held across different centres. It will evaluate candidates’ ability to observe, explore and enquire; lay emphasis on details and use multiple ways of seeing. They will be assessed by checking their knowledge in one or more of the following fields-

  • Contextual Awareness

  • Observation and Curiosity

  • Analytical Reasoning

  • Imagination and Visualization

  • Language and Expression

  • Critical Thinking

  • Domain Literacy

Those, who will successfully complete SEAT 2018, will be eligible to appear for test 2 that will either be only written, or part-written and part-practical. 

The next session, test 3, will be a portfolio review and a counselling session. This will be conversational in style.  

 

SEAT Exam Centres 2018

The Institute has not declared the exam centres of SEAT yet. However, in 2017 the entrance test was held across at ten cities across India. It is expected that SEAT 2018 will be conducted in following cities:

  5. Hyderabad

  6. Jaipur

  7. Kolkata

  8. Mumbai

  9. Pune

SEAT Result 2018

Result of SEAT 2018 will be declared in a phased manner in online mode (via Srishti Online Admissions Portal). The phases will be in the form of a first list and a waiting list of candidates.
