The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) will conduct CEED 2026 on January 18, 2026. For this the CEED admit card will be issued on January 2, 2026. IIT Bombay released the CEED 2026 application form on October 1, 2025. Applicants should know about the CEED 2026 registration fee payment details in order to complete the application form filling process. Shortlisted candidates in the Common Entrance Exam for Design will be offered admissions into the M.Des programmes of various participating IITs. Each IIT will conduct its admissions separately, with no centralised admissions taking place.
The CEED 2026 registration fee was to be paid by the candidate online at the time of filling up the application form. The category-wise CEED 2026 entrance exam fee is given below.

Candidates to pay the fees online at the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in at the time of registration. The fees can be paid only in online mode before the prescribed deadline for regular registration and late registration.
Candidates must pay the CEED application fee before the last date which is notified in the CEED exam schedule. IIT Bombay prescribed two separate deadlines for payment of the regular CEED 2026 exam fee and the CEED exam fee with late fees of Rs 500. The last date to register with the regular CEED registration fee was November 5, 2025. The deadline to register with a late fee of Rs. 500 was November 10, 2025.

The CEED application form fee does not include any service charges or processing fees charged by banks.
A late fee of Rs 500 applies to candidates in all categories when submitting the application form after the regular deadline.
IIT Bombay mentions in the CEED notification that the CEED registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. It means, once paid, candidates cannot request to take back the CEED entrance exam fee. Candidates are also not allowed to transfer the fee paid in their name to another candidate’s name.
