The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) will release the CEED 2026 application form on October 1, 2025. Applicants should know about the CEED 2026 registration fee payment details in order to complete the application form filling process. The details about the CEED registration fee 2026 will be released through the exam notification which will have complete information about the exam, including CEED exam fees, which candidates are required to pay when submitting the CEED 2026 application form. Only those candidates who have completed the CEED 2026 registration fee payment will be able to appear for the design entrance exam. IIT Bombay will conduct CEED 2026 on January 18, 2026. Shortlisted candidates in the Common Entrance Exam for Design will be offered admissions into the M.Des programmes of various participating IITs. Each IIT will conduct its admissions separately, with no centralised admissions taking place.

CEED 2026 Exam Fees Details

The CEED 2026 registration fee has to be paid by the candidate online at the time of filling up the application form. The category-wise CEED 2026 entrance exam fee is given below.

How to Pay CEED 2026 Registration Fees?

Candidates can pay the fees online on the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in at the time of registration. The fees can be paid only in online mode before the prescribed deadline for regular registration and late registration.

CEED 2026 Registration Last Date

Candidates must pay the CEED application fee before the last date which will be notified in the CEED exam schedule. IIT Bombay will prescribe two separate deadlines for payment of the regular CEED 2026 exam fee and the CEED exam fee with late fees of Rs 500. The last date to register with the regular CEED registration fee is October 31, 2025. The deadline to register with a late fee of Rs. 500 is November 18, 2025.

Important Instructions for CEED 2026 Exam Fees

Given below are a few important points that candidates must remember when paying the CEED 2026 registration fee.

  • The CEED registration fee must be paid through the payment option on the website while submitting the application form

  • The payment options for CEED exam fees include Debit Card/Credit Card/ Net banking

  • The CEED 2026 registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable

  • The CEED application form fee does not include any service charges or processing fees charged by banks.

  • A late fee of Rs 500 applies to candidates in all categories when submitting the application form after the regular deadline.

Is CEED Exam Fee Refundable?

IIT Bombay mentions in the CEED notification that the CEED registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. It means, once paid, candidates cannot request to take back the CEED entrance exam fee. Candidates are also not allowed to transfer the fee paid in their name to another candidate’s name.

While the CEED score is important, most of the institutes use full selection process that includes your CEED score(Part A and B), Portfolio and often an interview or studio tests.Your 6 years of experience, strong portfolio and relevant coursera certificates can add significant value during admission in IITDM, Srishti etc which consider the overall profile not just the rank.
