Design Entrance Exam Calendar 2027 - Exam-wise

NIFT Entrance Exam:

The National Institute of Fashion Technology will open the NIFT 2027 application form tentatively in December 2026. The NIFT entrance exam will be conducted in two stages. Candidates after submitting the NIFT 2027 application form will have to appear for the NIFT 2027 stage 1 examination. Only the shortlisted candidates from the stage 1 will be able to appear for the NIFT 2027 stage 2 examination. The NIFT stage 2 exam consists of situation test and an interview round. Through the NIFT examination, shortlisted candidates can take admission into UG and PG design courses in National Institute of Fashion Technology.

CEED 2027

The Common Entrance Exam for Design 2027 will open its CEED 2027 application form on October 1, 2026 on its official website. The CEED 2027 exam will be conducted on January 17, 2027 (forenoon). Through the CEED exam shortlisted candidates will be given admission into MDes programme in the participating institutes.

UCEED 2027

Authorities will release the UCEED 2027 application form on October 1, 2026, on their official website. As per the recent notification, the UCEED 2027 exam will be conducted on January 17, 2027 (forenoon). Candidates who have a valid score in the UCEED exam will be eligible to appear for the UCEED counselling process in the last stage of the admission process. Through the UCEED 2027 exam, candidates can take admission into four year BDes programmes offered in the participating IIT colleges, IITDM Jabalpur and other participating design colleges.

NID DAT 2027

The National Institute of Design will release the NID DAT 2027 application form tentatively in September 2026, on their official website. The NID DAT exam will be conducted in two phases: prelims and mains. All the shortlisted candidates from the NID DAT 2027 prelims exam will be eligible to appear for the NID DAT mains exam. Based on the previous year’s trends, candidates will be shortlisted only based on the mains score. Through the NID DAT exam, candidates will be able to take admission into UG and PG design programmes in all the NID campuses.

FDDI AIST 2027

The Footwear design and development institute will open the FDDI AIST 2027 application form tentatively in January 2027. Upon submitting the application form, candidates will have to appear for the FDDI AIST 2027 exam, followed by the counselling and seat allotment process. CUET BDes 2027

The CUET BDes 2027 application form will be tentatively released in January 2027 on the official CUET website. SEED 2027

WUDAT 2027

World University of Design tentatively will release the WUDAT 2027 application form in September 2027. Interested candidates must complete the application form and appear for the WUDAT 2027 entrance exam. The WUDAT 2027 exam is expected to be held in January 2027.
