IFTK Entrance Exam 2027: Eligibility, Application Form, Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The IFTK counselling 2027 schedule will be notified on the official website. The IFTK counselling will be conducted in three rounds. All the shortlisted candidates who secure their seats will have to pay the token fee and complete document verification to finalise their admission. Candidates will be offered admission into the 4-year B.Des programme.

The authorities will release the  IFTK 2027 eligibility criteria through the official brochure. Only those candidates who meet the IFTK eligibility criteria will be eligible to apply for the design course.  As per the IFTK BDes admissions criteria, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board.

Failure to satisfy the eligibility criteria can lead to the disqualification of the candidate at any stage of the admission process.

The LBS Centre for Science and Technology will open the IFTK application form 2027 tentatively in March 2027. Candidates will be able to complete the IFTK registration online from the official website - iftk.ac.in. After closing the registrations, the institute will also open an application form correction window

How to Submit IFTK Application Form 2027?

Candidates can register and fill out the IFTK application form by following the steps provided below:

• Visit the official website - iftk.ac.in.
• Click on the IFTK application form link.
• Provide basic details such as email ID, password, name, and gender to generate login credentials.  
• Login and fill in the application form particulars which include personal, communication details and academic details. 
• Upload the required documents, photo, and signature as per the required specifications. 
• Make an online payment of the IFTK application fee to complete the application process.

The authorities specify the IFTK 2027 exam pattern on the official website, iftk.ac.in. The exam pattern of IFTK informs candidates about the difficulty level of the exam, the type of questions asked, the duration of the exam, the total number of questions, whether there is negative marking, and the language of the exam. IFTK exam consists of CAT and GAT. 

IFTK 2027 Exam Syllabus

The syllabus of IFTK includes the GAT and CAT. The GAT is the objective part which evaluates the analytical and general knowledge proficiency of the candidates. The CAT is the subjective part which evaluates the creative aptitude.

IFTK Exam Pattern 2027

The LBS Centre for Science and Technology will issue the IFTK admit card 2027 tentatively one week before the exam. Candidates can use their allotted login details to download the IFTK hall ticket. All candidates must take a printout of the IFTK admit card 2027 and carry it to the examination hall on the day of the exam. Candidates need to check all the details mentioned on the IFTK admit card and make sure they are accurate.

How to download the IFTK admit card 2027?

Candidates need to download the IFTK hall tickets by using the steps below: 

• Visit the official website of IFTK - iftk.ac.in
• Enter the login credentials and click on the submit button
• Click on the IFTK admit card link
• IFTK admit card will be displayed on the screen
• Download and print the IFTK admit card

Note: Along with the hard copy of the IFTK hall ticket, candidates must carry any one of the photo identity proofs which are provided below.

• Passport
• 2 passport size photographs used while applying for IFTK

The IFTK 2027 answer key will be released shortly after the exam on the official website, lbscentre.kerala.gov.in. Candidates need to raise objections against the IFTK answer key with valid proofs through email to lbscentre@gmail.com within TWO calendar days from the date of publication of the IFTK answer keys. After considering the valid objections, the authorities will revise the IFTK answer key, if required. The result will be declared based on the final answer key.

 The IFTK 2027 result will be declared tentatively 10 days after the exam. The IFTK 2027 exam result will be released in the form of a rank list. All the shortlisted candidates from the IFTK entrance exam will be required to complete the further admission processes as per the schedule.

• The IFTK results will be displayed on the screen
• Download and save the result for future reference.

The IFTK 2027 cutoff will be released on the official website after each seat allotment round. Only those candidates who clear the IFTK cutoff for each round secure seats. The cutoff will be released category-wise.

Candidates who are interested in joining B.Des programme in the Institute of Fashion Technology, Kerala, needs to follow the steps below:

• Candidates need to satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities, i.e, they should have completed their 12th standard from a recognised board.
• IFTK selection process consists of the CAT and GAT exams 
• General Ability Test (GAT ) evaluates the candidates' quantitative skills, language skills, analytical skills, and knowledge of current affairs. 
• Creative Ability Test (CAT) evaluates the candidate's proficiency in creative skills, observation skills, innovative thinking and design ability of the candidate.
• The authorities will prepare the final merit list based on the marks in the entrance exam.
• Candidates who qualify the selection round will be offered BDes admission at IFTK.
