IFTK Entrance Exam 2026: Application Correction Window Open, Exam Date Out, Pattern, Syllabus

The LBS Centre for Science and Technology has opened the IFTK application correction window till June 10, 2026, for all the BDes programme applicants. Earlier, authorities had extended the IFTK entrance exam application form 2026 till June 4, 2026. Candidates will be able to complete the IFTK 2026 registration online from the official website - iftk.ac.in.

Steps on how to apply for the IFTK entrance exam are as follows.

Candidates can register and fill out the IFTK 2026 application form by following the steps provided below:

• Visit the official website - iftk.ac.in.
• Click on the IFTK application form 2026 link.
• Fill in the basic details such as email ID, password, name, and gender. 
• After submitting the basic details, login credentials will be generated. 
• Use the generated login credentials to log back into the IFTK 2026 application login. 
• Upload the required documents, photo, and signature as per the required specifications. 
• Make an online payment of the IFTK application fee of Rs. 1500 to complete the application process.
• Download the IFTK application form and print it for future reference.

The authorities has released the  IFTK 2026 eligibility criteria through the official brochure. Only those candidates who meet the IFTK eligibility criteria for 2026 will be eligible to apply for the design course.  As per the IFTK 2026 BDes admissions criteria, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board.

The authorities specify the IFTK 2026 exam pattern at the official website - iftk.ac.in. The exam pattern of IFTK 2026 informs the candidates about the difficulty of the exam level, type of questions asked, the duration of the exam, the total number of questions, whether there is negative marking, and the language of the exam. IFTK 2026 exam consists of CAT and GAT.

The syllabus of IFTK 2026 includes the GAT and CAT. While GAT is the objective part which evaluates the analytical and general knowledge proficiency of the candidates. The CAT is the subjective part which evaluates the creative aptitude.

The LBS Centre for Science and Technology will issue the IFTK admit card 2026 tentatively one week before the exam. Candidates can use their allotted login details to download the IFTK hall ticket 2026. All candidates must take a printout of the IFTK admit card 2026 and carry it to the examination hall on the day of the exam.

Steps on how to download the IFTK admit card

Candidates need to download the IFTK hall tickets 2026 by using the steps below: 

• Visit the official website of IFTK - iftk.ac.in
• Enter the login credentials and click on the submit button
• Click on the IFTK 2026 admit card link
• IFTK admit card will be displayed on the screen
• Download and print the IFTK 2026 admit card

Note: Along with the hard copy of the IFTK hall ticket, candidates must carry any one of the photo identity proofs which are provided below.

• Aadhaar card
• Driving license
• Voter Id
• Passport
• 2 passport size photographs used while applying for IFTK

The IFTK 2026 answer key will be published by the LBS Centre at its official website, lbscentre.kerala.gov.in. Candidates need to raise objections against the IFTK answer key 2026 with valid proofs through email to lbscentre@gmail.com within TWO calendar days from the date of publication of the IFTK 2026 answer keys. The result will be declared based on the final answer key.

 The IFTK result 2026 will be published tentativley one week after the exam at the official website -iftk.ac.in. The IFTK 2026 exam result was released in the form of a rank list. The shortlisted candidates from the IFTK entrance exam will be required to complete the further admission processes as per the schedule.

Steps to download the IFTK 2026 Results

Candidates can check the IFTK results as follows: 

• Visit the IFTK official website, iftk.ac.in
• Click on the “IFTK results/ Provisional Rank List” link
• The screen will be displayed with the IFTK results 2026
• Download and check the results of IFTK 2026.

The IFTK 2026 counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds. Shortlisted candidates who have obtained IFTK 2026 seat allotment will be required to pay the fee and complete document verification to finalise their admission. Candidates will be offered admission into the 4-year B.Des programme.

Candidates who are interested in joining B.Des programme in the Institute of Fashion Technology, Kerala, needs to follow the steps below:

• Candidates need to satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities, i.e, they should have completed their 12th standard from a recognised board.
• IFTK 2026 selection process consists of the CAT and GAT exams 
• General Ability Test (GAT ) evaluates the candidates' quantitative skills, language skills, analytical skills, and knowledge of current affairs. 
• Creative Ability Test (CAT) evaluates the candidate's proficiency in creative skills, observation skills, innovative thinking and design ability of the candidate.
• The authorities will prepare the final merit list based on the marks in the entrance exam.
• Candidates who qualify the selection round will be offered BDes admission at IFTK.
