With a CMR 1500 rank in NIFT 2026, a candidate is expected to find a place in the top 10th percentile. The NIFT result will be declared based on the candidate's performance in all components of the NIFT entrance exam and the NIFT 2026 result has been declared on March 20, 2026. The seat will be conducted based on the candidate’s rank in NIFT 2026 and the campus preferences given. In this article, let’s find out whether 1500 is a good rank in NIFT 2026.
NIFT will tentatively conduct three rounds of centralised NIFT counselling to offer admissions into B.Des and B.FTech programmes of 20 NIFT campuses in India.
Is 1500 Rank Good in NIFT 2026?
CMR 1500 is a good rank in NIFT 2026 for reserved category candidates. With the possibility of a place within, a 1500 rank in NIFT 2026 is good for candidates from SC/ST categories. However, the NIFT campus options for the open category candidates are expected to be limited to tier 2 campuses or top campuses under state domicile reservation, making a 1500 rank not good for them.
