The National Institute of Design is going to conduct the NID entrance exam 2025 on January 5. The NID 2025 entrance exam will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM. Aspirants who are going to appear for the NID DAT have to adhere to all NID exam day guidelines 2025 released by the authorities. Detailed NID exam day guidelines are released along with the admit card on December 23.

Candidates can download the NID admit card 2025 from the admission portal - admissions.nid.edu using their email address and date of birth. As NID 2025 admit card is a mandatory document, candidates are advised to download and take a printout of the same in advance to avoid any inconvenience on the NID entrance exam day.

NID 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

  • NID exam centre gates of the examination centre will be closed 30 minutes before the commencement of examination, after which no candidate will be allowed entry under any circumstances.
  • Candidates, who have been tested Covid-19 positive recently and are in compulsory/mandatory quarantine as per the Government’s guidelines/instructions, shall neither be allowed to enter the Examination Centre nor take the Examination.
  • Candidates must carry blue/black ball-point pen (for filling the OMR sheet), scissor, glue stick, lead pencil (of varying grades), colors (such as oil pastels/color pencils/sketch pens, etc.) eraser, sharpeners, ruler, transparent writing pad etc. for the purpose of examination.
  • Discrepancies, if any, regarding your particulars in this admit card can be emailed to admissions@nid.edu before 5 pm, Friday, January 3, 2025.
  • Candidates must bring any one valid original photo ID proof for verification that contains the full date of birth to the exam centre, such as Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Student ID issued by current school/ college, Passport, Aadhar Card, etc.

Do ipu accept nid DAT prelims score for bdes program

No, IPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) does not accept NID DAT Prelims score for admission to the B.Des (Bachelor of Design) program.

Instead, IPU conducts its own entrance test or may consider CUET (UG) scores for B.Des admissions, depending on the latest admission guidelines. Always refer to the university's official prospectus for the year you're applying to for the final admission criteria.
