The National Institute of Design has declared the NID DAT BDes mains result 2026 on May 26, 2026. Candidates can check the NID result through their login on the official website - admissions.nid.edu. The NID result rechecking window for NID BDes studio sensitivity test is also open till May 28, 2026 upto midnight. Shortlisted candidates will be eligible to register for the counselling process and secure admission.
The NID entrance exam consists of two components - prelims and mains. As per the selection criteria for NID 2026, the candidates will be offered admission based only on NID BDes mains. Earlier, the institute conducted the NID BDes studio sensitivity test on April 19 and the NID BDes in-person sensitivity test from May 11 to 17, 2026.
The NID BDes DAT mains result 2026 is out on May 26, 2026. Candidates can submit a request for rechecking the NID BDes result for the studio sensitivity test from May 26, 4 pm onwards till May 28 upto midnight.

Now that the results for NID BDes mains is out, the shortlisted candidates are required to upload the documents required for the counselling and admission process and also submit the institute preferences. The last date to upload the documents is May 31, 2026 upto midnight. The first round seat allotment for NID BDes will take place from June 9 to 11, 2026.
