IITB UCEED exam day instructions will be released with the official brochure, Also the authorities will provide the UCEED exam day instructions on the UCEED 2026 admit card. Registered candidates will be able to download the UCEED admit card from the official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in. Only those candidates who carry entrance exam admit card along with a valid Id proof will be allowed to appear for the UCEED exam. UCEED 2026 exam timings are expected to be from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon.

IIT Bombay will release the exam day guidelines pertaining to UCEED 2026 at the official websites. Candidates are required to adhere to all instructions inside and outside the exam centre. UCEED exam date is yet to be announced which will be in online mode.

As the UCEED 2026 official brochure is not yet released, meanwhile candidates can check UCEED exam day guidelines as per the previous year:
Candidates should report at the examination centre at 7:00 am along with admit card and id proof.
Candidates will not be allowed to carry any electronic devices (mobile phones, smart phones, watches of any type, calculators, tablets and the like), abacus, slide rule, log books, study material of any type, geometry box, and so on to the examination hall.
Candidates must bring their own pencils in a transparent packet. Sketch pens, color pencils, poster colors and other coloring materials are not permitted inside the examination hall. Candidates may bring a writing board of A4 size.
Aspirants will not be allowed to leave the UCEED exam centre before the completion of the entrance exam.
Part-A of the UCEED 2026 exam will be a computer-based test. In the event of any technical problems, the candidate may approach the invigilator for assistance and steps will be immediately taken to remedy the problem, or assign a different computer terminal if required. Candidates will get the complete allotted time to attempt their paper even in the event of any technical problem, and the time lost due to technical problems shall be adjusted automatically in the server.
As per UCEED entrance exam day instructions, candidates need to carry the following items to the exam centre of IIT Bombay BDes entrance exam.
Admit card
Valid, original photo identity proof
Pencils in transparent packet
Aspirants will not be allowed to carry the following items to the UCEED 2026 exam centre:
Any electronic devices (mobile phones, smart phones, watches of any type, calculators, tablets and the like)
Abacus
Slide rule
Log books
Study material of any type
Geometry box etc
As per the previous year, IIT Bombay has not released any specific UCEED exam dress code. However, candidates are advised to prefer wearing comfortable clothes. Moreover, aspirants should avoid wearing heavy jewellery inside the exam centre to feel comfortable.

For admission to Ajeenkya D.Y. Patil University (ADYPU), you must score a minimum of 50% in your 12th grade for the general category. However, ADYPU conducts its own entrance exam, known as the ACET ADYPU Common Entrance Exam, which includes a studio test and a personal interview. So, you would have a chance for admission based on how well you score in the entrance exam.

UCEED 2026- Registrations open around September–October 2025.
Pearl Academy - They have multiple admission cycles (Jan, April, June). Applications usually open by October 2025 for Jan cycle.

UCEED is a competitive exam for design aspirants, testing design aptitude, logical thinking, creativity, and visualisation skills. To improve your score out of 300, start by understanding the exam pattern—Part A (objective) and Part B (subjective). For Part A, practice reasoning, numerical aptitude, and environmental & social awareness questions. For Part B, focus on drawing, sketching, and presenting your ideas clearly. Solve past year UCEED papers and join online mock test series. Spend at least 2–3 hours daily practising creative problem-solving and sketching. Also, work on time management because the exam requires quick thinking.
