Candidates need to know the process involved in editing or updating the NIFT Application form. The process involved has been specified below.
Step 1: Go to the official NIFT 2026 website exams.nta.nic.in/niftee
Step 2: Sign in using the login credentials created during registration. If you do not remember your password, use the “Forgot Password” option to generate a new one. Details like your name, email ID, mobile number, and other key personal information cannot be edited later. Make sure these entries are accurate when filling out the form initially.
Step 3: After logging in with your registered email ID and password, access your previously submitted NIFT 2026 application form. Review every section thoroughly. If you notice any incorrect entries, especially in information like addresses or uploaded documents, it is important to make the necessary corrections. These are usually where most errors are found.
Step 4: Once all edits have been made, save the updated form. Resubmit it after confirming that all information is accurate. As per past procedure, NIFT has not charged an additional fee for making corrections in the application form.
Applicants should note that only specific sections of the application, mainly personal and academic information, are open for correction. This includes details like parents’ names, residential address, and educational records. However, changes to the registered email id and mobile number is not permitted.

After the NIFT 2026 form correction window closes, the next step in the NIFT admission process is downloading the city intimation slip, which will be followed by the NIFT Admit Card 2026. NTA is expected to release this slip one week before the exam. It’s important to understand that the NIFT city intimation slip is not the same as the admit card.
The intimation slip only specifies the city where your exam centre will be located. The exact exam centre details will be provided later in the NIFT 2026 admit card, which is likely to be issued in the last week of January or the first week of February.
