As per the official notification, candidates can complete their NIFT spot round registrations from July 19 to 22, 2026. Along with the registration process, all the shortlisted candidates will have to complete their choice filling, submit the required documents, and pay the registration fee as prescribed on the official website. Based on the NIFT result and choice filling, authorities will release the NIFT seat allotment for the spot round on July 24, 2026, on its official website. Upon releasing the seat allotment list, all the selected candidates will have to pay the NIFT spot round admission fee by July 27, 2026. Merger of Unfilled Domicile Seats | Unfilled Domicile (Open), Domicile (SC), Domicile (ST), and Domicile (OBC-NCL) seats will be merged into their respective category seats during the spot round. |
Unfilled OBC (NCL) and EWS Seats | Any remaining OBC (NCL) and EWS seats will be merged with Open category seats in the final seat allotment round. |
Unfilled PwD Seats | Vacant PwD seats will be merged with their respective categories during the spot round of seat allocation. |
The NIFT spot round allows all the shortlisted students to secure admission by filling vacant seats in the NIFT campuses. Start by visiting the official NIFT seat allotment website - nift.admissions.nic.in.
On the homepage, there will be a spot round seat allotment list that candidates can click on the NIFT spot round allotment list link
Candidates will then be taken to a login window where they need to enter their NIFT login credentials to view their NIFT spot round seat allotment status.
Finally, candidates can download the NIFT spot round allotment list and verify the seat allotment for the course they have applied for.
