The National Institute of Fashion Technology has released the NIFT fees 2026. The authorities have published the NIFT 2026 fees through the official brochure online at nift.ac.in. The cost of studying at NIFT is same at all campuses. The cost of studying in NIFT is Rs. 14,09,400 for 4 years. Aspirants seeking admission to NIFT should be well aware of the courses cost at the National Institute of Fashion Technology. Through this article, aspirants are provided with a breakdown of total cost of studying in NIFT for UG and PG programmes. Along with the NIFT fashion designing course fees, aspirants are advised to also refer to NIFT hostel fees.

Yes, a diploma holder in Computer Engineering can apply for the NIFT entrance exam , but only through the lateral entry route.
NIFT allows candidates with a 3-year or 4-year engineering diploma from a recognized board to apply for B.F.Tech (Fashion Technology) through lateral entry. The diploma must be approved by AICTE or the State Technical Board.
The age limit is usually 24 years for the general category.
So yes, you are eligible, as Computer Engineering is an engineering diploma.
