National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the list of prohibited items inside the NIFT 2025 exam centre at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT/. Items such as electronic gadgets, textual material, handbag, purse, and camera are not allowed at the NIFT 2025 exam hall. Aspirants who are going to appear for NIFT 2025 on February 9 are advised to check the complete list of items not to carry at the exam centre. NTA has released the list of items that aspirants have to and don’t have to carry to the exam centre through brochure. Details on other exam day instructions will be notified through NIFT admit card 2025. If any candidate is in possession of any of the prohibited items, his/ her candidature will be treated as unfair means and lead to cancellation of the current NIFT entrance exam and also debar the candidate for future examination(s) & the material will be seized.

The candidates are prohibited to carry any kind of electronic gadgets/device in the exam room/hall.
Smoking, chewing gutka, spitting etc. in the Examination Room/Hall is strictly prohibited.
Instrument/Geometry/Pencil box, Handbag, Purse or Any kind of Paper/Stationery, Eatables / Snacks and Tea / Coffee / Cold drinks / Water (loose or packed), Mobile Phone / Earphone / Microphone / Pager / Calculator/ Camera /Tape Recorder, any metallic item or electronic gadgets etc. are not allowed in the NIFT entrance exam hall.
Only candidates who are appearing for CAT Exam (2nd shift) will be permitted to carry their
Colouring and drawing material in a transparent pencil box. For CAT a physical question booklet with space for responses will be provided at the centre.
Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets / fruits (like banana / apple / orange) and transparent water bottles to the Examination Hall. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/ candy/sandwiches etc.
