The National Institute of Fashion Technology commenced the NIFT 2025 counselling registration process on June 24. Candidates can register for NIFT counselling 2025 by July 1, 2025. The shortlisted candidates will appear for the NIFT counselling 2025 for the seat allocation campus-wise. Aspirants seeking NIFT admission need to know details about NIFT rank vs campus. Aspirants to note that the NIFT rank vs college 2025 list will be released as per each round of NIFT seat allotment for all the programmes. Candidates are allotted seats into the NIFT courses across all the NIFT campuses in India. A total of 4837 seats available for NIFT 2025 UG admission. For UG NLEA, a total of 708 seats are there. Hello,
Yes, a diploma holder in Computer Engineering can apply for the NIFT entrance exam , but only through the lateral entry route.
NIFT allows candidates with a 3-year or 4-year engineering diploma from a recognized board to apply for B.F.Tech (Fashion Technology) through lateral entry. The diploma must be approved by AICTE or the State Technical Board.
The age limit is usually 24 years for the general category.
So yes, you are eligible, as Computer Engineering is an engineering diploma.
