    About SEED 2026

    Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) has declared the SEED 2026 result for round 2 on March 25, 2026. The SEED PRPI shortlist for round 2 will be published on March 28, 2026. Shorlisted candidates in the SEED exam result 2026 will be eligible to appear for the PRPI round. Based on the scores in the SEED 2026 entrance exam and the PRPI round, the SEED 2026 merit list will be published on April 21, 2026.  The institute conducted SEED 2026 round 2 on March 22, 2026, in an online proctored mode. Earlier, the SEED 2026 result for round 1 was released on January 19 and the exam was conducted on January 11.

    Candidates shortlisted from the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design will be offered admission into the B.Des programmes of the SID. The courses in Symbiosis B.Des admissions include B.Des Communication Design, B.Des Industrial Design, B.Des Fashion Design, and B.Des Fashion Communication. 

    Candidates who passed the 10+2 exam from any stream or equivalent or a 10+3 diploma with 50% (45% for reserved categories like SC/ST) recognised or approved by the state board of technical education, are eligible to apply for the SEED exam 2026. The SEED 2026 syllabus includes topics on visualisation, observational, perceptual, and reasoning abilities, problem solving, creativity, basic science and maths, and arts and culture. As per the SEED 2026 exam pattern, there will be 60 questions to be answered within a duration of 60 minutes. The SEED exam pattern includes multiple-choice questions.

    The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID)  has declared the SEED 2026 result for round 2 on March 25, 2026. The SEED 2026 PRPI shortlist for round 2 will be out on March 28, 2026.     Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) prescribes the SEED eligibility criteria 2026 on its official website. The eligibility criteria of SEED 2026 include requirements pertaining to educational qualification, minimum passing marks, and age limit, if any.     The syllabus of SEED 2026 has topics on the following areas -

    • Visualisation: Understand and visualise representations in pictorial and geometric forms, simple and complicated 2D & 3D geometric shapes, their transformations, and spatial relationships.
    • Observational, Perceptual and Reasoning Abilities: Decide the candidates’ capacity to read, see, and understand things and information beyond their most obvious details, to connect, compare, and create views, and to derive meanings and conclusions based on perception and reasoning abilities.
    • Creative and Problem-Solving Abilities: Comprehend and relate to images around them and to recognise issues and make an attempt to resolve them in this section.
