SEED Exam 2026: Round 2 Result Out, PRPI Schedule, Admit Card Date, Portfolio Submission, Merit List

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID)  has declared the SEED 2026 result for round 2 on March 25, 2026. The SEED 2026 PRPI shortlist for round 2 will be out on March 28, 2026. Candidates shortlisted in the exam need to appear in the portfolio review and personal interaction (PRPI) round online. Earlier, the SEED 2026 result for round 1 was declared on January 19, 2026.

Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) prescribes the SEED eligibility criteria 2026 on its official website. The eligibility criteria of SEED 2026 include requirements pertaining to educational qualification, minimum passing marks, and age limit, if any. • Students who passed their 10+2 from any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts, etc) or equivalent are eligible to apply.
• Applicants who qualified for the 10+3 diploma with a minimum of 50% marks or 45% for reserved category, approved by the State Board of Technical Education. 
• Candidates who completed the final examination of 10+2 grade or 10+3 diploma programmes provided the results of the examination, must be declared by June of the admission year or earlier.

• Candidates possessing portfolios will be given more preference. 

The Symbiosis Institute of Design has opened the SEED 2026 application form round 2 on January 12, 2026. The SEED application form window will be open till March 15, 2026. Interested candidates could complete SEED 2026 registration from the official website - sid.edu.in. • Visualisation: Understand and visualise representations in pictorial and geometric forms, simple and complicated 2D & 3D geometric shapes, their transformations, and spatial relationships.
• Observational, Perceptual and Reasoning Abilities: Decide the candidates’ capacity to read, see, and understand things and information beyond their most obvious details, to connect, compare, and create views, and to derive meanings and conclusions based on perception and reasoning abilities.
• Creative and Problem-Solving Abilities: Comprehend and relate to images around them and to recognise issues and make an attempt to resolve them in this section.
• Application of Basic Knowledge of Science and Mathematics: Examining the relation of everyday actions and objects to fundamental scientific and mathematical concepts that are taught up to the 10th grade level.
• Art, Craft, Culture, Design, and Environment: Evaluating candidates’ general knowledge of Indian and international art, craft, culture, design, and environment. Topics and subtopics relating to individuals, objects, tools, techniques, problems & issues, influences, time period, and current trends are covered in this section.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design releases the SEED 2026 sample papers on its official website. By going through the SEED sample questions, candidates can get a fair idea about the difficulty level of the exam and know what to expect in the exam.

Candidates desirous of seeking admission to SID for design programmes need to appear for the SEED entrance examination 2026. Qualified candidates are shortlisted into the PRPI round. The declaration for the SEED shortlist for round 1 will be on January 23, 2026 and for that of round 2 on March 28, 2026. Candidates who are shortlisted for the PRPI rounds need to book their slot for the personal interaction and upload their portfolios before the specified date. The slot booking window for the Personal Interaction will commence on March 28, 2026 and will be open till March 31, 2026. The authorities will issue the PRPI admit card 2026 between April 3, 2026 and April 12, 2026.
