SEED 2020: Symbiosis Institute of Design will release the official notification of SEED 2020 in January 2020. SEED application form 2020 will be released in the fourth week of January 2020. Candidates can fill the application form of SEED till the third week of April in online mode. Before filling the application form, candidates must read the eligibility criteria of SEED 2020. The admit card of SEED 2020 will be available from the third week of April to the first week of May. Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design or SEED is an entrance exam to offer admissions to candidates in BDes programmes offered at Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID). SEED result 2020 will be released in the second week of May in the form of scorecard. SEED Eligibility Criteria 2020

The eligibility criteria of SEED covers the academic, age and other parameters which the candidates must meet before they start filling the application form.

A candidate must meet the below-mentioned Eligibility Criteria for SEED 2020

  • A candidate must have qualified 10+2 (any stream) or equivalent OR 10+3 diploma recognized by State Board of Technical Education with minimum 50% (SC/ST - 45%) aggregate marks scored in the final exam to be eligible for the program.

  • A candidate appearing for the final examination of 10+2 or 10+3 Diploma program may also apply provided the results of the examination should have been declared by June of the admission year or prior to being eligible for the program.

SEED Application Form 2020

SEED 2020 application form will be released in the fourth week of January in online mode. Candidates can fill the application form till the third week of April 2020. Before filling the application form, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of SEED 2020. SEED 2020 online registration process is completed in seven simple steps:

  • Registration

  • Fill all Details

  • Selection of Exam Centre

  • Fee Payment

  • Upload Photo & Signature

  • Submit the application form

  • Take Printout

Application Fee for SEED 2020 Application Form:

Candidates need to make the payment of Rs. 1750 towards the registration/application fee of SEED 2020 through any of the following below mentioned payment modes:

  • Billdesk Gateway

  • Axis Bank Gateway

  • Indian Bank Gateway

  • Demand Draft.

Candidates also pay a registration fee of Rs. 1000 per programme. The fee could be paid through one of five payment modes which are given below:

  • Cash

  • Demand Draft

  • Credit Card

  • Net Banking

  • Paytm.

For those candidates who choose to pay via cash or Demand Draft (DD), should ensure the following:

  • Bank Challan for cash payment, (Axis Bank/Indian Bank) or

  • Get a crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1750/- for ONE Test (morning or mid-noon) OR Rs. 3500/- for TWO Tests (one from the first slot and one for the second slot) from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune. Send the 'payment advice' and the Demand Draft (DD) to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat by the second week of April 2020, at the following address:-

SEED Admit Card 2020

Authorities will issue the admit card of SEED 2020 in the third week of April in online mode. SEED admit card 2020 will be available at the official website of Symbiosis Institute of Design in the form of a pdf. Candidates will be able to download the admit card of SEED 2020 by using their login credentials.

SEED Result 2020

SEED 2020 Result will be released in the second week of May 2020. Candidates will be able to download the result of SEED 2020 by entering their login credentials. SEED Result 2020 will be available in the form of a scorecard.

SEED Merit List 2020

The first merit list of SEED 2020 will be available for candidates in the first week of June 2020. A total of 207 seats will be allocated to the shortlisted candidates across eight design specializations on merit basis. The merit list will be prepared based on the performance of candidates in the entrance exam.

SEED Selection procedure 2020

Admissions to shortlisted candidates to various B.Des programmes will be given in the following manner:

Level 1: Candidates had to appear for SEED 2020. Qualified candidates will be eligible to appear for studio test and personal interaction. Shortlisting of candidates will be done only on the basis of preference 1 selected during registration.

Level 2: The Institute conducted studio test and personal interaction at its Pune campus from the fourth week of May to the first week of June 2020.

Final selection of candidates will be done on the basis of candidates’ cumulative performance in SEED 2020 entrance exam, studio test and personal interaction.

Frequently Asked Question (FAQs) - SEED 2020

Question: Are there any reservations for the OBC?

Answer:

No, there are no reservations for the OBC. Candidates belonging to the OBC category must apply under the Open category.

Question: Why do we need to pay an additional ₹ 1,000/- per programme?

Answer:

Candidates entrance scores will be considered for shortlisting candidates for the further admission process (PI-WAT / ST-PI) by individual Institutes ONLY for the programmes that you have paid for.

Question: How will I get to know the venue of the test?

Answer:

The test centre details will be mentioned on the admit card, so please wait till you are able to download the same.

Question: When I am trying to log in it is showing User already logged in?

Answer:

If you are getting "User already logged in" error then please close your browser and tab and try to log in after one hour, i.e. till after the session expires. You will be able to log in successfully thereafter.

Question: In the form we need to fill the percentage but my board gives CGPA, what should I do?

Answer:

In case of CGPA, the conversion to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure prescribed by the respective Board / University. So please contact your Board / University for details regarding this.
