Candidates who wish to download the admit card can be informed of the process to get past errors in the NID Admit Card login, the download process, and more in the article below. Candidates will have to download the DAT Prelims and Mains Admit Card as both events have individual admit cards.
Sometimes the issue is not the password but an incorrect application number or a mismatch between the email ID and the information submitted during registration.
Steps to resolve:
Refer to your NID registration confirmation page or email to cross-verify your application number.
Make sure the email ID used during registration is the same one used for login.
Avoid copying spaces before or after the application number when pasting.
If the credentials still fail, contact NID admissions support with your registered mobile number for verification.
The NID admissions website can slow down or crash temporarily due to heavy traffic, especially on the first day of admit card release on December 11, 2025 at 4 PM.
Steps to resolve:
Try accessing the admit card during off-peak hours (early morning or late night).
Refresh the page after a few minutes instead of repeatedly clicking the login button.
Clear your browser cache and open the website in a private/incognito window.
Use an alternative browser if your primary one fails to load the portal properly.
Slow or unstable internet connections can cause the admit card page to freeze, fail to load completely, or break during the PDF download. Having a reliable connection to the internet before loading the Admit Card can prove useful.
Steps to resolve:
Switch to a more stable network (Wi-Fi instead of mobile data, if possible).
Restart the router or turn airplane mode on/off to refresh the connection.
Pause background downloads(if any) or streaming activities that consume bandwidth.
Try downloading the PDF on a different device to check if the issue persists.
Some browsers may not support the website’s scripts or PDF download settings, resulting in incomplete or failed downloads. Using the commonly preferred browsers like Chrome, Edge or Mozilla is recommended. Here are the steps for the browser incompatibility
Steps to resolve:
Use updated versions (check the latest version) of Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.
Disable browser extensions like ad-blockers that may interrupt script loading.
Enable pop-ups temporarily, as the admit card sometimes opens in a new tab.
If the PDF appears blank, download it using a different browser.
On rare occasions, the admit card may download successfully but appear blank, partially loaded, or missing essential details.
Steps to resolve:
Re-download the file after clearing browser cache.
Use a PDF reader instead of viewing it directly on the browser.
Check if the file size matches the expected PDF size, very small files usually indicate a corrupted download.
If the issue continues, request assistance from NID admissions with your application details.
If all else fails, candidates can contact the NID Admission Authorities to check the status of their Admit Card and find the necessary fix. Candidates can contact the NID DAT Admissions authority at their Email: admissions@nid.edu.

Stay consistent and observe everyday designs for new ideas.

Hi daksh
As 563 rank in nid dat exam cannot guarantee admission in designing college but it could be a good chance to explore some campus as if you are not from general category as category role plays an important role . But now you can do one thing focus on your strengthening your protofile or preparing for the studio test (bdes) or interview (mdes).
Thanks.
